Who would pay to see a documentary about Joan Rivers?
May 24th, 2010 under Movies. [ Comments: none ]

I read about Joan Rivers documentary A Piece of Work getting played at a lot of film festival, but up until now I had not seen the trailer. Now that I have, I can safely say I won’t be seeing that movie. Seriously that trailer made me like her even less than I already do. I feel bad for the poor crews that had to film her, she seems like she would be tough on them. I can see her saying to them “Make me look natural,” like anyone can do that. So will you see that movie when it comes out this summer?

BTWF roles: Craig T Nelson on The Mary Tyler Moore Show
May 24th, 2010 under Before They Were Famous. [ Comments: none ]

(starts at 3:22 in)

Before Craig T Nelson was a coach on Coach, he was a mechanic on The Mary Tyler Moore Show. How cool was it to see the 28 year old with a full head of hair in that 1973 episode.

Bret Michaels’ thank you note
May 24th, 2010 under Bret Michaels. [ Comments: none ]

A day after he deservingly won Celebrity Apprentice, he wrote a thank you note to his fans on Facebook for the first time since his near-death experience a month ago.

With all of my heart, soul and the remaining organs I have left (lol) I would like to thank each and every one of you for all of your support and awesomeness. All the good vibes and well wishes gave me the strength to go back to New York and win Celebrity Apprentice. I am not at 100% yet but I have every intention of trying to continue the tour starting Friday in Biloxi. I hope to see your rockin rollin, smiling faces on the road… that is the best medicine I can think of right now. You rock my world.
Love and respect,
Bret Michaels

His sheer will power to live and enjoy life to the fullest is so admirable to me. I have to admit before Celebrity Apprentice and his health issues, I just thought he was a cheesy ’80s hair band rocker who did the Rock of Loves. But in 2010 I learned he is a really cool dude who I tip my bandanna too.
People asked me if he deserved to win CA and my answer is yes. He was a great competitor all season long and did a much better job with the Snapple campaign than Holly Robinson Peete. Plus he was a much better team player, so I am happy he won! You go Bret.
Now let’s hope he wins he biggest challenge and is 100% by Friday so he can continue touring like he really wants to do.

Jared Leto does breakfast with Justin Bieber
May 24th, 2010 under Jared Leto. [ Comments: 2 ]

Jared Leto Tweeted this picture of the only way he can have breakfast with Justin Bieber. Let’s be real Bieber was born after my so called life was on TV and who thinks he might have of heard of 30 Seconds to Mars, so why would the teen idol want to hang with the former teen idol? Oh I have a reason, so he can give Leto hair advice because WTF did he do to his hair. I can be OK with the mohawk, maybe even a bleached blonde one, but there is no way I can say that having a hot pink mohawk with a bleach blonde buzz works. Someone buy him some brown hair dye ASAP!

The clock stops on 24 tonight
May 24th, 2010 under Fox. [ Comments: 1 ]

Tonight after 8 sh!tty days, Jack Bauer gets to call it day! The best way for me to describe tonight’s series finale is that I don’t watch the show and I liked the ending for 24 better than Lost’s and I watched every episode of that show.
Tonight’s two hour send off is action packed with an ending you won’t see coming? Someone Jack knows is going to shoot him, but you have to watch to see who and why? Will President Taylor go out as the bad guy? Will Dalia Hassan find out who really killed her husband? For a proper 2 hour sendoff watch 24 on Fox at 8p as the clock stops for Jack Bauer…until the movie! I promise you won’t be as disappointed with it as you were with Lost’s. I can say this because the people I watched Lost with yesterday are also avid 24 watchers and saw the finale and told me how much better they liked 24’s!
