Yesterday was the red carpet premiere for The Back-Up Plan, and the movie’s star Nubbin showed Jennifer Lopez who was the hottest bitch there. Nubbins was the HBIC as she wheeled herself down the red carpet in her debut role as a dog who needs a wheelchair. Even though Nubbins doesn’t need the wheelchair like her character, the Boston Terrier still made that accessory work for her. You go girl! You were the hottest bitch on that carpet while Jennifer Lopez is just one. I joke, it was just too easy not to go there!

Tom Bosley is 82 years and he isn’t letting his age stop him from acting. The Happy Days star has a role in Jennifer Lopez and Alex O’Loughlin’s The Back-Up Plan and I wonder if this movie will do for him what The Proposal did for Betty White? Considering I had to go to IMDB to find out if he was in the movie and that is why he was at the premiere, I don’t think it will be. Either way it is good to see Mr. Cunningham and to know that he is still acting!

You know you are too wasted when…you can’t put on your flip-flops. Some guy went to Coachella and he was enjoying the festival a little too much, so much so that when his flip-flops fell off it was a struggle for him to get them back on. Luckily for us there was someone who wasn’t enjoying the festival as much and was able to phonecord the man’s hilarious attempt to put on his shoes. I love that when he finally gets them on, he stands up, loses his balance and the shoes come off again and then he goes over to a group of girls that were concerned about him and tries to hit on them. Of course they walked away, who wouldn’t?
Seriously you know you are too wasted when you can’t even put on flip flops. They are like the second easiest shoes to put on, right after clogs.
Leonard Nimoy was doing an interview with Toronto Sun and in it the 79 year old actor revealed he is retiring from acting. This is not the first time he said goodbye to acting according to the interview, so what got him out of retirement the last time? “I was away from acting for 12 years, so I guess I was seducable,†Nimoy told the paper “But since J.J. Abrams revived the Star Trek franchise, I felt I owed him something. And I’m glad I did it because he promised me a good story, and it was.â€
And even though he came back to work for J.J., he continued to say he is leaving for someone else. “I want to get off the stage. Also, I don’t think it would be fair to Zachary Quinto,†he continued telling The Sun, referring to the actor who portrayed a youthful Spock in last summer’s smash Star Trek relaunch. “He’s a terrific actor, he looks the part, and it’s time to give him some space. And I’m very flattered the character will continue.â€
He added that his appearance on the upcoming Fringe will be his swan song to acting. “I’ve been doing this professionally for 60 years,†he says with a laugh. “I love the idea of going out on a positive note. I’ve had a great, great time.â€
I wonder if Nimoy will spend his retirement reviving his music career? But seriously he has had an amazing career that most actors can only dream of, and he has deserved his retirement and I hope he enjoys it like we have enjoyed his acting!
BTW as soon as William Shatner heard the new he called J.J. and said he was willing to take over as Spock in Star Trek. Just joking, but you know he called him to try to get a role in Star Trek 2 when he heard the news.
