ABC has a new show on the air called Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution and it is a must watch. It is scary how bad we eat now. I know I have been just as bad eating crap like pizza, chicken nuggets and fast food in general. But after seeing how they make chicken nuggets, I will never eat them again. Seriously how gross is that? And what is even grosser all the kids actually ate it after he showed them what they are made out of. That really scared the sh!t out of me, is that what we have become?
What was also scary on that episode is that he goes into a classroom with vegetables and none of the kids knew the names for any of them? Seriously how can they not identify tomato or a potato? The teacher was horrified by the test and she took it on her own to finally teach the kids to identify vegetables.
What also scary and sad is that Jamie Oliver was working with a morbidly obese family to eat better and they didn’t take his advice. So Jamie took the family to the doctor and they told them that their 6th grade son might have diabetes. Luckily he did not, but if he does not change the way he eats he will get it. It was then that they all realized how serious it is that eating crap is effecting them and they decided they needed to change their eating habits.
Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution is an eye opener and I think everyone should watch it on Fridays on ABC at 9p. Now I am not saying we should all eat organic, because I sure as hell don’t, but I am saying we do need to eat better!

Miley Cyrus thinks she needs acting lessons! The actress told WENN, “I’ve not taken like acting lessons or anything, but it doesn’t mean I don’t need to because I’m sure I do. Once I watch this film in the theater, I’m probably going to go book an acting coach.” So after watching that scene from The Last Song, do you think she needs to get an acting coach ASAP? And how many of you are thinking while she is at it she could get a singing coach too? Although she did give great advice on American Idol and she was a much better singer than Demi Lovato was on the Idol results show. Seriously Demi Lovato should not sing, her duet with Joe Jonas was beyond painful.
Now back to Miley, girl you should totally take acting lessons. In fact I think most actors should. If Jon Bon Jovi could take singing lessons after he had a few hit albums, then Miley you could do the same with acting lessons after a hit show and a few movies.
At two different concerts this month Axl Rose has threatened to end his show because water bottles were thrown at him. At the first show in São Paulo, Brazil at the beginning of March he told one fan to stop or he would end the show. But over the weekend in Lima Peru he brought out a translator out to express his wishes. According to NME he made those fans wait an hour before the band came out which could be why they were throwing stuff at him, or maybe they thought he looked thirsty. I am thinking it could be the first reason. This is not the first time that Guns N’ Roses has been late coming out on the stage, maybe if Axl Rose respected his fans, they would respect him and not throw stuff at him? Afterall it doesn’t seem that their opening act, Skid Row is having things thrown at them…just saying. But I have to admit it is not cool to throw anything at the band…well unless it is underwear or flowers!
The show that didn’t seem like it would ever die, is dead. Fox has finally cancelled Til Death. The show’s star Brad Garret told Zap2It, “‘Til Death” is done for good. “The other night, we got an 0.8 [rating]. Once your mom stops watching, you’re an 0.4. The network said, ‘What do you suggest?’ I said, ‘If you give me one more month, I can take you to a zero.’ And there was dead silence.”
I have to admit I am one of the few viewers left that was helping the show get a .4 rating. I am bummed that Fox didn’t renew the show because I wanted to see how many more actresses they could get to play Brad and Joely Fisher’s daughter Allison, they were already up their 4th one. I think that is most replacements for one character on any show, so at least the show will go down in the record books for something.
