Fess Parker passed away today at the age of 85 on the day of his wife of 50 years, 84th birthday according to MSNBC. Fess Parker is best known for his roles as Davy Crockett, Daniel Boone and the dad in Old Yeller. Later on in life he opened a winery near Santa Barbara. So go buy a bottle of his wine, put on Old Yeller and remember of him.
Side note: My friends got married at his winery and can I tell it was the most beautiful wedding I ever went to. That is how I will always remember him and they told me he was very nice to them.
Jesse James breaks his silence via a statement to People about his marital problems with Sandra Bullock.
Although he called “the vast majority” of allegations against him “untrue and unfounded,” he says in a statement provided to PEOPLE, “There is only one person to blame for this whole situation, and that is me.”
“It’s because of my poor judgment that I deserve everything bad that is coming my way,” he says in the statement. “This has caused my wife and kids pain and embarrassment beyond comprehension and I am extremely saddened to have brought this on them. I am truly very sorry for the grief I have caused them. I hope one day they can find it in their hearts to forgive me.”
Looks like the Oscar Best Actress curse did strike Sandra Bullock which means she probably won’t be taking him back. I am really sad they didn’t work out because it sounded like at the Golden Globes that she really loved him, but he screwed up what they had for…well a screw.
After months of waiting, FlashForward returns to ABC at 8p with a 2 hour spring premiere with some questions being answered and some more asked! Tonight’s episode picks up where the last one left off and we find out what happens to Dr. Lloyd Simcoe after he was kidnapped, who took him and why. Also on tonight’s episode we find out who was that lone person who was awake in Detroit during the blackout and why they were there. We also get an extended FlashForward for one person, another one’s re-interrupted and find out that another person faked their’s. As you heard in that promo there will be another FlashForward, but you will have to watch to find out when.
It gets really good tonight and if you were thinking of giving up this show, don’t because you are not going to want to miss what happens next starting tonight on ABC at 8p. Plus Dominic Monaghan goes evil and you know what he does a really good being the bad guy!
Jaleel White aka Urkel announced on his Twitter that he has some Family Matters going on his life. Jaleel White Tweeted, “SLOW NEWS DAY: Leave it to Gossip Blogs to get things half right. I am the proud father of a 7 mo. old baby girl. In the interest of child development, she lives a fame free life.” No word who the mother is or the daughter’s name, but I am sure the magazines have their people working on that right now.
BTW it’s good to hear he is a daddy because I wasn’t sure if he would be able to father a kid after wearing his pants so high up for all those years that he played Urkel on Family Matters.
Yesterday on The CW America’s Next Top Model the girls had to walk the runway and avoid getting hit by two swining pendulums. Alexandra like all the models was ready to attempt the challenge, but unlike the other girls she fell short on the challenge not once but twice. First she fell walking down the steps, which left everyone in gasps. Then it looked like things turned around for her as she successfully walked past the pendulums and didn’t get hit, but then as she attempted to walk past then again she got smacked in the a$$ and fell off the runway! Since she only suffered some minor cuts and because she was not eliminated from the competition, I don’t feel as guilty saying I can’t stop watching that video over and over again and laughing my a$$ off!
