WireImage posted some pictures from Nick Jonas’ recent concerts and you know what they actually looked kind of cool. I really like the way they captured him jumping off of the piano as though he can actually fly. It is a really cool effect. The last one when he is on the ground and being shaded by the spotlight is my favorite because that one is really rock’n’roll.
The best part about these pictures is we don’t have to hear him sing, because that is so not rock’n’roll it is just whiny and painful.

Kristen Bell, Dax Shepard, Will Arnett and Josh Duhamel were all at the premiere of their new movie When in Rome and they seemed to be having a really good laugh. Jon Heder was also there, but he didn’t seem to be in the joke. Maybe it wasn’t a joke, but maybe someone asked them if the chick flick is Oscar worthy? Or maybe they are really trying to prove to us that movie is very funny? I wish I knew what they were laughing about!
You know pictures like that bring a smile to my face, and like to share that feeling.
UPDATE: Also on yesterday’s red carpet for When in Rome, Robbins Brothers The Engagement Ring Store helped Navy Seal Chad Williams make his proposal to his girlfriend, Aubrey O’Boyle of 7 years, extremely special by arranging it so he could do it there. How sweet was it to see him get down on his knee and ask her to marry him? And more importantly how gorgeous was that ring? He did good with that! Seriously who doesn’t love a good marriage proposal?
Yesterday on Jimmy Kimmel Live Mel Gibson debuted the trailer for his next feature film that he wrote, directed and starred in and that movie is Wiggly Piggly: The Jimmy Kimmel Story. Poor Jimmy, that was really mean…funny but mean. I don’t think he was in on the joke kind of like his birthday present from his ex Sarah Silverman a few years ago, you might have heard of it…I’m F*cking Matt Damon. Back to Mel Gibson for a second a year ago he would not have needed a fat suit to play Jimmy Kimmel, he was that chubby. Dang even now with the weight loss, he still has fat legs as we saw in that video and I really didn’t need to see that.
BTW Gibson also talked up his real upcoming flick The Beaver. I hate Mel Gibson, but even I got a laugh when he bashed the movie. Like when he told Jimmy, “Hey it didn’t cost much to make, so if it goes down (no pun) we are OK.” and “The Beaver, we don’t give a dam(n).”
Zelda Rubenstein passed away today at the age of 76 according to the LA Times. The Poltergeist star who told Carol Anne not to go into the light has now joined Heather O’Rourke in the light. Zelda might have been small in size, but she was huge in talent. Zelda was best known for Poltergeist, but I also loved her on Picket Fences and Sixteen Candles. So let’s all remember her tremendous talent and watch Poltergeist in her honor…with the lights on.
