1, 2 Freddy’s coming for you…Michael Bay
September 28th, 2009 under Movies, Robert Englund. [ Comments: none ]

Screw you Michael Bay and your stupid production company for f*cking up Nightmare on Elm Street. That trailer for the remake looks like sh!t. Katie Cassidy just annoyed the heck out of me. And Jackie Earle Haley sounds nothing like Robert Englund’s Freddy and his voice just wasn’t scary enough. G-d that movie looks like sh!t. Where is Uwe Boll when you need him?
I might be biased because Elm Street was one of the few movies that scared the crap out of me and I used to sleep with a Freddy Krueger doll when I was college, but I don’t think I am and that movie looks like it is going to suck big time.

Dexter and Califronication are back to sex up killer Sundays!
September 27th, 2009 under Showtime. [ Comments: 1 ]

Dexter is back to make Sundays killer tonight on Showtime at 9p! Tonight Dexter is adjusting to being a daddy, but does that mean his killing has to stop? I am sure he will figure out a way to make it all work out…that is if he can get some sleep. Debra and Lundy will team up to catch a serial killer called The Trinity Killer. He starts the season off with his first murder and will continue them throughout the season. Even though the clues are there, will it be enough for them to catch him?
Tonight’s episode ends with a WTF moment that will make you jealous that I saw next week’s episode. But believe me I am suffering because the 4th episode ends with a bigger OMG moment and I only got the first four episodes of the season. Dexter is going to be killer this season, so make sure to watch it tonight and every Sunday on Showtime at 10p!

Californication is back to sex up your Sundays tonight on Showtime at 10p. Now that Hank is by himself with his daughter Becca in LA, does that mean he will be faithful to Karen who is in NY? Hell to the no! Hank Moody is still working the moves with the ladies, but this season he has a whole new smorgasbord to choose from because he is teaching a college class. He will start hooking up with one woman after the second episode, but knowing him that won’t last and that will cause a lot of problems for him. Becca has become a rebellious teenager and she is making his life hell. So is her BFFs mom, who also works at the same school as Hank. As much as Hank’s life seems like hell, it is nothing compared to Charlie and Marcy’s. Due to Charlie’s money woes he moves back home and Marcy is so not loving the idea. She decides to sell the house in an upcoming episode, but wait until you see what goes wrong. Charlie has a new boss played by Kathleen Turner and this is a role you have never seen in before and I am not sure we really needed to see her in this one, but that is what works about it! Also joining the show this season is Rick Springfield and that has me oh so excited, but not as excited as that famous three-way scene with Charlie, Hank and some random girl…
So tune into Califronication tonight and every Sunday at 10p on Showtime for a show that will have you excited to start your new week.

Mike Henry and Kevin Michael Richardson talk about The Cleveland Show
September 27th, 2009 under Seth MacFarlane. [ Comments: 1 ]

Just like Scrappy, Cleveland is getting his own show (The Cleveland Show) tonight on Fox at 8:30p. Cleveland Brown leaves Quahog tonight with his son and heads to LA, but he makes a quick detour to his hometown of Stoolbend, VA and winds up marrying the second Mrs. Cleveland Brown! Cleveland and Cleveland Jr move in with Donna and her two kids, teenage Roberta and 5 year old Rallo. And it is going to take a lot of adjusting for the 5 of them to get to used to each other. Cleveland also has new neighbors that he gets to drink with and including a bear and a redneck. Wait until you see what happens between him and the redneck on the third episode. Let’s just say it is so politically incorrect and I love that!!!
Tonight’s episode sets up the Family Guy spinoff, but starting next week you get the feel for this hysterical show! Just like Family Guy it has that wrong but oh so right humor, but unlike the show it is spinning off from it is a little more of a family sitcom. Not saying Family Guy isn’t a family sitcom, but this one has more the feel of the classic ones from the ’70s!
A few weeks ago I spoke with Cleveland (Mike Henry) and his son Cleveland Jr (Kevin Michael Richardson) at the Fox Eco party and they talked about the animated show that debuts tonight! Mike Henry told me, “You haven’t begun to see who Cleveland is. I mean, he’s a sweetheart, you root for him, but he’s also a whack job. So you will see a lot of that soon.” I can’t wait to what a real whack job he turns out to be, about time he broke out of that shell. Kevin Michael Richardson told me he has to remind Mike Henry “that he’s white because he is so good that he even fools me. I have to remind myself, you know, so, this guy is fantastic.” Both of them are fantastic with all the voices they do on The Cleveland Show! What is also fantastic is the list of guest stars they have coming up on the show like Earth, Wind and Fire, Ed Asner and Kanye West to name a few. When you listen to the above interview you will hear who else they have and also Kevin does a dead-on Barack Obama impression!
So check out The Cleveland Show tonight and every Sunday at 8:30p on Fox for a show that will make you LYAO!!!

Neve Campbell will Scream again!!!
September 27th, 2009 under Movies. [ Comments: 4 ]

Dimension Films has a lot of sequels and remakes on the roster according to Variety and I can’t wait to see them all! First up is Scream 4 that will reunite Neve Campbell and Mr and Mrs David Arquette. Next up is Spy Kids 4 that will get the 3D treatment when it begins shooting in March. Hopefully they will bring back the talented Alexa Vega for the movie. Another flick going 3D for them will be Halloween 3D that is due out next year. They are also working on sequels for Hellraiser and Scanners. Besides sequel they are developing a bunch remakes like Children of the Corn, Short Circuit and An American Werewolf in London. I have to admit I am hoping last one doesn’t happen because the original was such an untouchable classic, but I will still go see it and all the other movies they have coming up! Especially since The Weinstein Company’s Harvey Weinstein said, “I’m heading back to my franchise films…These films are our strength, and we are committed to doing them in style.” Knowing what he is done in the past, I have so much faith that he will be doing them all in style!
