The first fall show picked up for a full season is…
September 21st, 2009 under Fox, Glee. [ Comments: 3 ]

So what is the first fall show to get a a full season pick up? File this under no duh, it was the first one to premiere back in May and that show is Glee!!! Start singing Fox’s praises because they didn’t Stop Believing in the most anticipated show of the fall season. I can’t wait to see what storylines and songs they come up with for the bottom nine because if they are as good as the first 13 it is going to be one awesome season to cheer about!!!

Jeff Probst needs to follow his words…
September 21st, 2009 under Emmys. [ Comments: 12 ]

So yesterday at the Emmys Jeff Probst for some reason won his second consecutive Emmy for Best Reality Host and when he was in the press room he made a comment that makes me wish he would follow what he says. According to The Envelope when the Survivor host was asked what he thought about The Amazing Race winning its 7th consecutive Emmy (the only show to ever win the Emmy in this category since it was established) for Best Reality Show, he said “Maybe ‘Amazing Race’ should do what Oprah did and pull itself out of competition.” Ouch! Look who’s talking? Can someone please explain to me why he keeps winning for Best Reality Host? I voted Survivor off my Island after the second season partially because he just bored me. To me he doesn’t have the personality or likability like the other hosts that were nominated…Ryan Seacrest, Heidi Klum or Tom Bergeron. I just don’t get it. Maybe next year Cat Deeley will not only be nominated, but she will win! I mean how many Emmys does he have to win, until he decides to do an Oprah and pull out?
Now saying all of that, he is kind of right about The Amazing Race! LOL!

BTWF music videos: Hugh Laurie in Annie Lennox’s Walking on Broken Glass!

Before Hugh Laurie was having problems walking as House, he was Walking on Broken Glass for Annie Lennox. How much fun was it to see the 32 year dressed up as an 18th century Englishman George, the Prince Regent in that 1992 video?

Another non-dancing DWTS injury
September 21st, 2009 under Dancing with the Stars. [ Comments: none ]

So for some reason I can barely care that Dancing with the Stars is back tonight on ABC at 8p. Maybe because we haven’t had the thrill of season ending injuries before the show started or it could be because of the names that are the so called “Stars”. Well I lied there have been two injuries that required stitches, but neither of them were due to dancing. Last week Kathy Ireland hurt her leg surfing and now Mya Tweeted that she cut her finger from a glass.

Went2the hospital late last night2get stitches . Deep cut from glass. Only caught 2hours of sleep but feel great. Must be adrenaline.
Nothing to worry about. Just an ugly slice on my finger-not the first time I’ve had stitches. I’ll be just fine. Thanks4the concern.

Not only are the names boring so are their injuries. Hopefully things will pick up tonight when men the perform! BTW the women perform tomorrow and on Wednesday two teams, one from each sex, will be eliminated.
Am I the only not feeling season 9 of DWTS?
