The Inglourious Basterds do Vanity Fair and Cannes!!!
April 2nd, 2009 under Brangelina, Eli Roth. [ Comments: 2 ]

Vanity Fair went all the way to Germany to capture the cast of the upcoming WWII epic movie Inglourious Basterds in these gorgeous photos. Seriously how sexy, authoritative and amazing do Eli Roth, Brad Pitt and Daniel Bruel all look in their uniforms in that group photo! The magazine that is out now also has some of the script to go with the pictures!
Last night Variety broke the news that not only will Inglourious Basterds premiere at Cannes next month, it is also competing for the Palme d'Or. If Quentin Tarantino wins for the award then it will be his second one because the first was for Pulp Fiction! Fingers crossed the film wins!
I am so jealous that the select few people who actually get to go to Cannes will see the movie 3 months before me on August 21st!

Suri Cruise eats her shoe
April 2nd, 2009 under Tom Cruise/Katie Holmes/Suri. [ Comments: 3 ]

You would think with all the money that Katie Holmes spends of Tom Cruise's money, that she would spend a little more of it to buy Suri a better toy to chew on than a shoe. Let's hope that she didn't walk in that shoe before she put it her mouth.

Want to own a Hollywood Wax Museum figure?
April 2nd, 2009 under Auctions, Madame Tussauds. [ Comments: none ]

The Hollywood Wax Museum is cleaning house and you can own one of the nearly 200 wax figures that are they auctioning off for yourselves according to ONTD! Starting on May 1st, you can bid on either The Beatles, Marilyn Monroe, James Dean or Johnny Depp to name a few at Live Auctioneers. The article didn't explain if the fire sale is because they are closing down, but they sis say part of the profits will go to help preserve The Hollywood Walk of Fame.
I think I am going to have to go the museum this weekend and see which ones I want to display at my place!!!

ER says goodbye tonight
April 2nd, 2009 under NBC. [ Comments: none ]

After 15 years, ER signs off tonight at 9p. The show that launched the careers of George Clooney, Noah Wyle, Ming Na, Alex Kingston, Laura Innes and so many more is getting a three hour send-off tonight. The first hour is a retrospective and starting at 9p the final episode airs. I still think it is a huge mistake that NBC is ending this show because it is one of the very few good shows that is still good on the network, but it is too late.
Thank you to everyone who worked on ER for a show that remained good throughout all its 15 years!
