VH1 is bringing back their great documentary show Behind the Music for 10 episodes according to The Hollywood Reporter!
“It felt like the time is right,” said Jeff Olde, VH1 executive vp original programming. “There’s all sorts of new artists on the scene who have emerged and have these great stories. And there’s other artists that we always wanted to do the first time around.”
I loved Behind the Music, so I hope the network brings it back for more than just 10 episodes! I say cancel all those stupid dating shows they are coming up for their rejected reality dating show stars and give more programming time to to Behind the Music! Did we really need another season of Real Chance of Love? Seriously?
Chuck Lorre’s two hysterical comedies The Big Bang Theory and Two and Half Men were both picked up by CBS for multiple years! The Big Bang Theory, the show that gets better with each episode was picked up for two years! And the always funny and frisky Two and Half Men got picked up for three!!! Now if only CBS would give the How I Met Your Mother a multiple year renewal I would be a very happy girl…largely because of all the laughs I would get from all the shows!!!
BTW after reading Chuck Lorre’s Vanity Card after Monday’s The Big Bang Theory, it is nice to see he has two shows he actually loves working on unlike some of the others…
Natasha Richardson has succumbed to a brain injury that she suffered on Monday in a freak skiing accident at the age of just 45 according to ETonline.
Since the story broke, the daughter of Vanessa Redgrave, sister of Joely Richardson and wife of Liam Neeson, went from a known talent to the household name she should have been. In the last few days we got to know her and the love she and her husband had for one another.
As I was getting ready to post the story, I was going through WireImage trying to find the right picture to post. You can tell in the pictures that even though Liam and her had been married for 14 years that they were still so much in love. The pictures of their love are just so beautiful, that it breaks my heart what he will be going through and what their sons will be going through.
Liam and her family released this statement:
"Liam Neeson, his sons, and the entire family are shocked and devastated by the tragic death of their beloved Natasha. They are profoundly grateful for the support, love and prayers of everyone, and ask for privacy during this very difficult time."
Hopefully their privacy will be respected. My prayers go out to her family.
So last night I went to a screening of CBS’s upcoming thriller series Harper’s Island and it is better than thought it was going to be…and I had a feeling it was going to be really good! Also at the screening CBS previewed the corresponding webseries Harper’s Gold that premiered today!!!

Haprer’s Globe is the newspaper of island and Robin has just accepted a job there. She will be helping us get a little more knowledge of what happened all those years ago and what is going on now.
Harper’s Island and Harper’s Globe will be the first show and webseries that will interact with each other in TV history. Characters from the show will be on the webseries and vice versa. This a great idea and I can’t wait to see how it all plays out!!! There are 16 Harper’s Gold webisodes that start today and a new one will be posted every Wednesday until the end of the show’s first season run. If you do the math that is 3 more than the show that starts in 3 weeks from tomorrow on April 9th on CBS at 10p on Thursdays after CSI!!!
