Wonder Years’ Danica McKellar got married on yesterday to composer Mike Verta according to People. Danica’s former co-stars Allie Mills and Dan Lauria were there and Crystal McKella, who played Becky Slater was the Maid of Honor.
The bride wore a mermaid-style wedding gown and a tiara by Renee Strauss while the groom wore a tuxedo with tails and white gloves.
"We wanted an intimate, formal event," says McKellar, who walked down the aisle to wedding music composed by Verta and performed by members of the San Diego Symphony.
A reception followed at a private club, where guests enjoyed a sitdown dinner and dancing to a 10-piece band. The newlyweds danced their first dance to an original Sinatra-style love song written by Verta and performed by McKellar's uncle, Kim McCellar.
Sounds like such a beautiful wedding. I guess Kevin Arnold couldn't watch his first love marry another.
Bruce Willis, 54 got married to Emma Heming, 30 (a year younger than Ashton Kutcher) yesterday in Turks and Caicos islands in the Caribbean according to Us Weekly. Demi Moore attended with her husband and her three daughters with Bruce Willis. Bruce and Emma will have a civil ceremony when they return to The States.
Jade Goody lost her battle with cancer today at the age of 27 leaving behind two little boys according to OK!.
Jade Goody was most known for a comment she made to Shipla Shetty on The UK’s Celebrity Big Brother, until while making amends on the Indian version of the show she found out she had cervical cancer. From that moment on she let us in on her cancer battle and we watched as she fought to live, got married and said goodbye to her sons.
Jade’s life will be remembered for her strength and letting us all in what cancer does to someone, even someone as young as she was. 27 is way too young die.
My heart goes out to her family.
