NBC has decided not to pick up the bottom 9 episodes of Journeyman according to The Hollywood Reporter. Journeyman has two more episodes in the can and NBC said they will air them as planned. I am so bummed that this show got cancelled because it was the only new show on NBC I was watching.
The news is really not a surprise because it was reported a few weeks ago that NBC gave them a two episode try to improve their ratings and if they didn't they would be gone. The ratings went down and so is a good show that was on the wrong network in the first place…hint hint sister network Sci Fi.
I did not recognize Denis Leary with his darker locks. I am not sure I like them because I am so used to him as a blond. Hopefully his hair will be back to its lighter tint when Rescue Me is back on FX, that is if it is not affected by the WGA strike.
The Humane Society of the US did an investigation into Pets of Bel Air, a pet shop where many celebrities have bought their animals. What they discovered will shock you, but it will shock the people who bought their high-priced dogs from them. The HSUS obviously was taken very seriously because according to KABC Pets of Bel Air was shut down…at least for now.
It is so sad when you hear about people who spend so much money on a puppy and they don’t know how that poor puppy came into this world. My parents got a dog before I was born from a pet store and sadly he died at a very young age from Parvo. So from that point on my parents would never and tell people not to get an animal from a pet shop.
Hopefully all the dogs that were purchased from Pets of Bel Air are OK and being born in puppy mills did not affect them too much. Not that I want to give puppy mills more business, I just would feel bad for any owner who got a sick dog.
