24’s day 7 is off the 2008 calendar because of the WGA strike
November 7th, 2007 under WGA Strike. [ Comments: none ]

Fox has announced its new schedule because of the WGA strike and 24 is not a part of it.

The seventh season premiere of 24 is being postponed to ensure that “Day 7” can air uninterrupted, in its entirety.

That is the biggest casualty so far because of the WGA strike and think that one is going to make the largest stink. But granted the 7th season of 24 hour has been as cursed as the 5th season of Dancing with the Stars. First there season plot was scrapped, then production was delayed because they were still working out kinks, then Kiefer Sutherland was arrested for DUI and they are trying to work his jail time into their production schedule and now this. It is almost to the point maybe they would be better off just scrapping this whole season???

BTW here is the rest of the changes due to the strike. American Idol is back, but Bones and 'Til Death are displaced to Fox's burial night of Friday so I am majorly bummed about that.

“AMERICAN IDOL” RETURNS WITH 2-NIGHT, 4-HOUR PREMIERE

TUESDAY, JAN. 15, AND WEDNESDAY, JAN. 16

ADDITIONAL PREMIERE DATES INCLUDE:

“TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES” JAN. 13 AND 14;

“’TIL DEATH” MOVES TO FRIDAYS BEGINNING MARCH 7;

"24” PREMIERE POSTPONED TO ENSURE “DAY 7”

Jimmy Kimmel Live! confirms repeats
November 7th, 2007 under Jimmy Kimmel, WGA Strike. [ Comments: 1 ]

I am already going through my Jimmy Kimmel Live! withdrawal, but I fear that because Variety is reporting that the WGA strike might go through 2008 I will also start going through a Soap Opera withdrawal soon.

The tallest and smallest dogs together at last!
November 7th, 2007 under Animals, Guinness World Records. [ Comments: 1 ]

The Guinness World Record holders for tallest and smallest dogs got together to celebrate their titles.
Measuring a whopping 107cm, gentle giant Gibson was named tallest dog back in 2004. Joining him in the hall of fame for 2007 is tiny Boo Boo who only measures 10.16cm tall and is smaller than Gibson's head.
Good thing Gibson didn't step on or lick Boo Boo because either one of those could wipe out the pint size pooch!
BTW way too cute not to post!

Jordan is not afraid to die anymore
November 7th, 2007 under Jordan/Peter Andre/Harvey. [ Comments: none ]

Jordan was afraid she was going to die young in a car crash according to Sky Showbiz, but after talking to a medium she is no longer scared.

They report her as saying: "I'm not scared of dying because I've been told by a medium that I'm going to die in my sleep."

A friend of the star said: "Katie's always predicting how she'll die.

"Before she saw the psychic, she was convinced she'd pass away at a young age in a car accident. But talking about premature death isn't helping matters for Pete."

Hopefully we will have her around a lot longer because she is always something interesting to blog about!

Kitchen Nightmare is finally back tonight on Fox at 9p
November 7th, 2007 under Fox. [ Comments: 2 ]

Kitchen Nightmares is my favorite new reality show of the season. I love how Gordon Ramsey goes into restaurants and cleans them up and changes their menus, attitudes and looks of the place. That was until this week when I saw the Kitchen Nightmare is a place not that far from me that I ate at once. I am scared to see what he finds wrong with Sebastian's. Hopefully nothing to major because I will be eating out a lot less. But then again I might have a new place to eat at tomorrow.
So tune into Kitchen Nightmares tonight at 9p on Fox and see what he does to the place and if I will be looking for a new place to eat!
(BTW the one time I ate at Sebastian's it was good, but it was just a little more than what I wanted to pay and there are several other restaurants in the area to choose from which is why I have not gotten back there.)
