Leonardo DiCaprio’s “The 11th Hour” is a feature length documentary concerning the environmental crises caused by human actions and their impact on the planet. The 11th Hour documents the cumulative impact of these actions upon the planet’s life systems and calls for restorative action through a reshaping of human activity.
The 11th Hour opens in Los Angeles and New York on August 17th, in select markets on August 24th, and nationwide on August 31st.
Hopefully Leonardo DiCaprio will finally get the Oscar he so richly deserves for this movie especially for something he so believes in and is passionate about! Just looking at that trailer, I will have to run out and see it this weekend!

Melanie Griffith doesn’t like working with dogs |

National Enquirer is reporting that Melanie Griffith lost her temper with her little co-star on Viva Laughlin.
“In her shrill, childlike voice, she kept shouting ‘shut up’ at the little dog,” an insider told The ENQUIRER.
“The cast and crew thought the dog was just the sweetest thing, and it was shocking to hear her yell at such a helpless animal. Melanie went toe-to-paw with paltry Pomeranian, which was wearing a tuxedo for its appearance in “Viva Laughlin.”
The 50-year-old star was dressed in black for a graveyard scene, but the somber atmosphere was shattered by the little dog growling at a horse on the set. The aggravated actress soon joined the fray.
“At first, Melanie sounded like she was yelling at a person, but the crew soon realized that her persistent ‘shut ups’ were aimed at the dog,” said the insider.
The insider added that she couldn't be bothered to learn the dog's name. I wonder if she treats all her co-stars like that…2-legged included. Melanie's mother is a big animal supporter in fact she has an animal sanctuary on her property, I would love to see Tippi Hedren's reaction to this story.

Is it just me or is her butt smaller than you thought without clothes, not that I gave it much thought but I thought it would be huger like her ego. Maybe with her last few endeavors not doing that well, her butt has gotten smaller like her ego and record sales numbers.

Painkiller Jane is not indestructible |

TV Guide is reporting that Sci Fi has decided not to pick up Painkiller Jane for a second season. I have to admit I tried to like this show, but there was just something about it that I was just not able to get into to the show even though I watch it every week. This is the second show (that I watch on Sci Fi) that was given the axe in as many weeks, the other being The Dresden Files.
Painkiller Jane's last episode will air on September 21st.
