WTF? Young Frankenstein says no to Chloris Leachman via letter.
June 7th, 2007 under Broadway, Cloris Leachman. [ Comments: none ]

Screw the Broadway version of Young Frankenstein. They sent a letter telling to extremely talented Chloris Leachmen that her services were no longer need for the production according to Army Archerd. A bloody letter to someone like Chloris Leachman, how wrong is that? The stupid director says she wants to keep the film and the Broadway musical separate, WTF? Mel Brooks had already told her he wanted back and said, "Cloris is going to steal the show — all she has to do is walk on the stage — she'll bring the house down." Seriously one person, and that one person being Chloris Leachman, will not make a difference. I say boycott this show because it is already sounding like a real bomb.

If you want to save Chloris Leachmen, you can visit the Save Frau Blucher website and send nuts! Just joking about the nuts, but they do work!

Chloris Leachman good, Young Frankenstein the Musical bad.

Indiana Jones loses his dad
June 7th, 2007 under Harrison Ford. [ Comments: none ]

The man with the hat is back, this time he's not bringing his Dad. Sean Connery, who retired from acting in 2005, said:

"I get asked the question so often, I thought it best to make an announcement. I thought long and hard about it and if anything could have pulled me out of retirement it would have been an Indiana Jones film. I love working with Steven and George, and it goes without saying that it is an honor to have Harrison as my son. But in the end, retirement is just too damned much fun. I, do however, have one bit of advice for Junior: Demand that the critters be digital, the cliffs be low, and for goodness sake keep that whip by your side at all times in case you need to escape from the stunt coordinator! This is a remarkable cast, and I can only say, 'Break a leg, everyone.' I'll see you on May 22, 2008, at the theater!"

Indiana Jones (Thanks Scott W – The #1 Indy fan!)

I am so bummed he will not be back, but you gotta give it to him for not going back on his word and enjoying a well deserved retirement. Now if only they can find a place for Sean Patrick Flanery in his place I would be a very happy camper.

Grey’s Anatomy no longer paging Dr. Burke
June 7th, 2007 under Shonda Rhimes. [ Comments: none ]

Michael Ausiello is breaking another big story and this is that Isaiah Washington was finally fired from Grey's Anatomy. I say finally because ever since the new F-word incident everyone has been wondering when he would be let go and today was the day told him they opted not to pick up his contract. A source told Ausiello, "There was a pattern of problematic behavior going back before he used the F-word, I imagine [his dismissal] was the result of all of that." And that is what has been reported by other projects he worked on to. I guess he always held a grudge with the show because he was the original Dr. McDreamy until Patrick Dempsey auditioned and they gave him the role.
His publicist confirmed he will not be back and gave the following statement from him, "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore." Well I guess so was ABC and Grey's Anatomy and they didn't take it anymore.
I won't miss him because I am so sick of hearing about the incident already. Hopefully Katherine Heigl will be released too.
Thanks Denise!

Seriously? WTF? Party at Paris’ tonight?
June 7th, 2007 under Paris Hilton. [ Comments: none ]

(photo from Us Weekly
OK, so all day I was joking that there would be a party at Paris' from the next 39 night, never thinking it would actually be true. But according E! News' Samantha Harris it is. Harris spoke to Hilton's friend Caroline D'Amore and when she asked about a bash at Paris' tonight she said, "You know, (it's) just friends and hanging out and giving her hugs and kisses and stuff like that, so I hope that I can be a part of it but we'll see… as soon as she's ready and gives me a call, I'll come by, bring some food, hang out.  I 'm working every single day right now (on her new movie) so it's kind of crunch time and crazy, but we will find the time." Yeah jail changed her.
But if the Prosecuting attorney and Judge Sauer have their way she might be going back to jail tomorrow. City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo filed a motion today requesting that she go back to jail because the Sheriff's office did not follow the Judges law that was issued on May 4th when he said she must serve her time in jail and he especially said no electronic monitoring. Judge Sauer will hear the case at 9a tomorrow and he ordered that the Sheriff's office bring her to court. She better not be late again. Sounds like she is going back to jail don't you think?

Pete Doherty sings Disney
June 7th, 2007 under Pete Doherty/Kate Moss. [ Comments: none ]

(photo from Wire Image
Where is Disney to put a stop to things when they really need to? Pete Doherty will be performing "Chim Chimney" from Mary Poppins at a star-studded concert in honor of the Disney Songbook according to Dot Music. I think it is appropriate that he is doing something from Mary Poppins because you know his motto is "A spoon full of sugar, helps the medicine go down."
