Poor little Harvey was hospitalized again.
May 30th, 2007 under Jordan/Peter Andre/Harvey. [ Comments: none ]

Poor little Harvey was hospitalized again after he fell on a mirror and cut his face according to The Sun. Very pregnant Jordan (Katie Price) and the recovering from meningitis Peter Andre rushed him and the nanny to the hospital. Doctors fear that little Harvey might have glass in the wounds and have transfered to him a hospital that is more equipped to deal with the injuries. A patient at the hospital said, “Jordan and Peter waited three hours for a scan. She looked very worried.” And her spokesperson confirmed that “She is in hospital with Harvey and is devastated. All she seems to do is spend time in hospital. It is unclear how long he will be there.” For those of you not familiar with Katie, Peter and Harvey’s hospital visits, Peter was hospitalized for meningitis last month, Harvey suffered burns on his legs after he turned on the hot water in a bath and went in on New Year’s Eve and Jordan suffered a miscarriage a year ago before getting pregnant again. Harvey, who is 5 was born blind and is autistic. The nanny was also injured trying to help him, but she was later released.
Everyone say a prayer for our little sweetie whose life has not handed him the best hand, but yet always has smile on his little face. Get well soon Harvey!
UPDATE: According to Sky Showbiz little Harvey is doing better and went home with his parents! “One deep laceration to the child’s face was of particular concern. The first thoughts were that the specialist skills of a plastic surgeon would be required to make sure he was not scarred for life.” Doctors were able to give him stitches and send him home. I am glad he is doing better!!!

58 Jordin Sparks “I (Who Have Nothing)” 18,162 (New) Total: 18,162 (-)
70 Blake Lewis “Time Of the Season” 14,748 (New) Total: 14,748 (-)
76 Blake Lewis “This Love” 13,288 (New) Total: 13,288 (-)
91 Blake Lewis “When the Stars Go Blue” 11,434 (New) Total: 11,434 (-)
121 Blake Lewis “I Need to Know” 8,814 (New) Total: 8,814 (-)
170 Jordin Sparks “To Love Somebody” 6,681 (New) Total: 6,681 (-)
176 Blake Lewis “Imagine” 6,558 (New) Total: 6,558 (-)
So why did I say that the singles were not doing that well? Here is how the other the American Idols did the first week of their release:
Clay Aiken “This is the Night”: 393,000
Ruben Studdard “Flying Without Wings” : 286,000
Kelly Clarkson “A Moment Like This” : 236,000
Taylor Hicks “Do I Make You Proud”: 228,418 (CS: 190,619)
Carrie Underwood “Inside Your Heaven”: 170,528 (CS: 131,504)
Fantasia “I Believe”: 142,141
Bo Bice: “Inside Your Heaven”: 121,423 (CS: 108,158)
Katharine McPhee “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”: 74,965 (CS: 47,394)
Diana Degarmo “Dreams”: 65,000
Considering that only Diana Degarmo did worse than the two current American Idol contestants, I would say things are not looking good for their eventual album sales. That is if Blake Lewis does get an album deal, which I am sure he will, it is just not going to be by Clive Davis.

Is Scary Spice going to be Dancing with the Stars?
May 30th, 2007 under Dancing with the Stars, Spice Girls. [ Comments: 1 ]

(photo from The Sun
It has been two weeks since ABC confirmed that Dancing with the Stars was coming this fall and already we are hearing who might be part of the show's fifth edition. According to IOL when Scary Spice's (Melanie Brown) spokesperson was asked if she has spoken to Eddie Murphy they responded by saying,  "Eddie hasn't been in contact yet, but Mel's been busy with the US version of Strictly Come Dancing and her daughters." Hmmm, very interesting? It kind of makes sense though because the show did wonders for Baby Spice in The UK. But I wonder is DWTS trying to take one controversial English person each season and make them a positive name in the US? Last year was Heather Mills, now Melanie B, who is next Posh Spice or Jordan or George Micheal or Boy George or Naomi Campbell?

Paris Hilton nervous about doing time
May 30th, 2007 under Paris Hilton. [ Comments: none ]

A friend of Paris Hilton's told People Magazine that although Paris Hilton looks like everything is fine, she is actually really nervous about going to jail. "Paris hasn't been eating at all and her parents and friends are beyond worried about her. She breaks down crying a lot because she just can't deal with the reality and the pressure of everything that is happening." The source added, "She's been having such a tough time with it all despite her going out with friends and going shopping. She just does that to keep her mind off things and to try and stay as normal as possible right now." Even though she had a Memorial Day party she is beginning to realize who is really there for her, "Her biggest support has been her family – her parents without a doubt. She talks to them a million times a day and they are doing everything they can to make sure that she comes out of this okay.As for her friends, that's been another spot of stress for Paris, She really can't take how most people around her have scattered and distanced themselves." I think it is normal for her to be scared about going to jail, hopefully it will change her for the better. I was hoping some of friends and ex-friends would also take notice that there could be consequences for your actions, but after this weekend we learned that they didn't.
