According to Sting's site, the Sunday Times published this photo of what The Police were rehearsing in Vancouver last month. The list is great even though Be My Girl Sally is not on there. I would be even more psyched about it, but I did not know the tickets for the show in LA already went on sale and sadly there are no tickets left. Oh well maybe next time when they do their 60th reunion I will see them.
So the Herald Sun in Australia has an interview with Vincent D'Onofrio and he says he will not be on the show for very much longer because he wants to direct and does not like being a star. Maybe this is old news, but I don't watch the show, so it is new to me. All I know about D'Onofrio are the rumors that I have read in the papers. So it will be interesting to see what type of director he will be? This is what he had to say about his departure, "I'm at the age where I'm having a pretty good time in life and I want to do some directing now, stay away from acting just a little while," D'Onofrio explains. "I haven't sorted the actual departure date out yet, but I won't be there (Criminal Intent) much longer. You see, I've never seen myself as a leading man. I want to be a character actor. I don't care if a script is for a five-minute role or a major role, I want to approach things simply. If I like the role, I'll play it."
UPDATE: Michael Ausiello published this quote from his rep, "I am not leaving Law & Order: Criminal Intent and have every intention of fulfilling my contractual obligations on the show. I still find playing the role of Robert Goren interesting and enjoy working with the writers, cast and crew of Criminal Intent." Ausiello also added that he doubts CI will be picked up for another season. Personally I think he just spoke too early and NBC doesn't want to ruin the May sweeps cliffhanger where his character is shot and killed?

IOL has this cute story how Drew Barrymore and Hugh Grant met way before they did Music and Lyrics. Back in 1995 when Hugh Grant was arrested for being caught with Divine Brown, Drew was one of the two people in the industry who actually sent him a letter of support. "I'm so not a Hollywood Bob, but I thought he was so charming with the gracious, humorous way he handled the whole thing, having been through some public scrutiny myself. He wrote me back and me and my room mate kept the letter on our fridge for years. He said only two people had written to him. The other was Francis Ford Coppola. Random." Seriously how cute is that…
