Seriously? OMG! WTF?

There’s nothing freaky about this coming Friday for Lindsay Lohan. I’ve just learned the 20-year-old starlet will return to work in just two days. The doctor treating her appendix problems has given her the okay to resume shooting the thriller I Know Who Killed Me. L.L. plays a stripper suffering from dual personalities after a brutal kidnapping. "All is good," her reps says. "She will be back at work soon." Production was halted at the beginning of the month when Lohan was apparently hospitalized for appendicitis and had her appendix removed. Since then, doctors had not given her the okay to return to work, which includes some rather risqué pole-dancing. On top of her appendix drama, there’s also the rehab thing. Lohan will most likely continue her treatment at night while shooting during the day. Lohan checked herself into the L.A.-area facility Wonderland Jan. 17. Even if she is working again, Lohan won’t be making the trip to party-hopping Park City tomorrow for the premiere of her new movie with Jared Leto, Chapter 27. Her rep says she is staying put in Los Angeles. In other words, life right now for L.L. is all work and no play.

At least she said no to going to Sundance. So sad, I just wish she would finally get the help she needs.

Young Frankenstein, Mel Brooks’ hotly-anticipated follow-up to The Producers, will arrive on Broadway in the fall, a casting notice confirms. The new musical will begin rehearsals in June and open out of town this summer prior to its Broadway bow. As with The Producers, music and lyrics are by Brooks, the book is by Brooks and Thomas Meehan, and Susan Stroman directs and choreographs. A recent workshop of the musical starred Kristin Chenoweth as Elizabeth (the role played by Madeline Kahn in the film), Brian D’Arcy James as Dr. Frankenstein (the Gene Wilder role), Sutton Foster as Inga (the Teri Garr role), Shuler Hensley as the Monster (the Peter Boyle role). Marc Kudisch was the police inspector who suspects Dr. Frankenstein, Roger Bart was the hunchback Igor (pronounced "EYE-gore") and Cloris Leachman recreated her own role as the horse-frightening Frau Blucher. The Equity chorus call for singers will be held Feb. 8 and 9, both days at 10 AM, at the Hilton Theatre at 214 West 43rd Street, Third Floor.

Sources tell ET that ANNE HECHE has left her husband, COLEY LAFFOON, for her "Men in Trees" co-star JAMES TUPPER. Heche’s rep confirms that she and Laffoon have separated. The two were married in 2001 and have a son together. The rep issued this statement: "Actress Anne Heche and her husband Coleman Laffoon have decided to separate after five years of marriage. They have requested that they be allowed their privacy at this time." A spokesperson for her "Men in Trees" co-star confirms that Tupper and his wife split in November, but would not speculate on the on-set romance. The two are currently in production in Vancouver on the hot show, which just got a new time slot after "Grey’s Anatomy" on Thursday night. Back in July when ET first interviewed the two co-stars on the set, they were already each other’s fans. "James Tupper is the leading man on this show, and if I did not get involved with him on the show, I’d be very disappointed," Anne said. James commented, "I’m a really big fan of Anne’s — she’s just wonderful." On "Men in Trees," Anne plays a relationship coach living in the mostly male-populated town of Elmo, Alaska, where her character has an on-again, off-relationship with James. "I have a blessed situation in my life," she told ET in July. "My husband is a stay-at-home dad. We chose to have a baby and chose to be together as a family. "Coley and [my son] HOMER go with me everywhere; that’s why I wanted to do a TV show. I wanted to give my family a stable life and give them an opportunity to build a life, although mommy is an actress."

Isaiah Washington has entered a treatment facility. This is what sources connected to ABC and Touchstone have confirmed to me, after Life & Style magazine broke the story about an hour ago. According to my ABC sources, one of the options the higher-ups at ABC/Disney had been considering was to release Washington from the cast of Grey’s Anatomy, without giving him a farewell episode. However, I’m told by an insider that Washington agreed to do "whatever it takes" to keep his position at Grey’s and to make amends with the gay and lesbian community. He also vowed to seek help for his psychological issues—hence, his entry into a treatment facility this morning.
Grey’s Anatomy boss Shonda Rhimes released the following statement: "I speak for all the executive producers here at Grey’s Anatomy when I say that Isaiah Washington’s use of such a disturbing word was a shocking and dismaying event that insulted not only gays and lesbians everywhere but anyone who has ever struggled for respect in a world that is not always accepting of difference. "We’ve been working within the Grey’s family as well as with ABC and Touchstone Television to address the issue in a way that underscores the gravity of the situation while giving us all a foundation for healing. We applaud and encourage Isaiah’s realization that he needs help and his subsequent choice to seek immediate treatment for his behavioral issues. "We appreciate the support the fans have always given our show, particularly during this stressful time. Creatively, we continue to strive to make the best television we can with the hope that our show reflects the talent, hard work and professionalism of our cast and crew. "
Washington also released his own statement: “With the support of my family and friends, I have begun counseling. I regard this as a necessary step toward understanding why I did what I did and making sure it never happens again. I appreciate the fact that I have been given this opportunity, and I remain committed to transforming my negative actions into positive results, personally and professionally.”
GLAAD president Neil Giuliano had this to say: "We are pleased to see him seeking help to deal with the issues he alluded to in his public statement last week."
