Justin Timberlake and the women he spent time in Vegas with… |

Sexy pop-star Justin Timberlake juggled a gaggle of gorgeous actresses on his rushed weekend visit to Vegas, but it was his mom, Lynn that won his special attention when he threw her a birthday at Jet nightclub in the Mirage after his MGM concert with Pink. Last Monday at the Golden Globes, Justin made it public that he and actress Cameron Diaz were "officially over" when they had a shouting match at one of the Hollywood parties. While she tearfully fled to Hawaii, he pulled out his bulging black-book and said, "Lets Party in Vegas." Along came former flame Alyssa Milano, darling pal Eva Longoria and, curiously, ‘OC’ actress Olivia Wilde who was his ‘Alpha Dog’ co-star who left her own party at the rival LIGHT in Bellagio to be with him!! Gossip gangstars in Hollywood will have their spin on that trio today, but I can tell you safely that his heart still belongs to "Dear Old Mom," Lynn Harless. Justin timberlake’s mothers’ birthday cake Right after the MGM show he headed for Jet’s VIP section where Lynn and the actresses were waiting. Bottle after bottle of Jack Daniels washed down with Coke vanished in fast order and pastry chef to the stars Jean-Philippe Maury produced a three-tiered cake (right) with sparklers and magnums of Dom Perignon champagne. Justin grabbed the microphone and sang "Happy Birthday" and then got the entire club to join in the serenade again. Once she’d blown out the candles, Justin’s "SexyBack" single had everybody dancing, hugging and kissing. Also there joining in the fun was UFC Champion Chuck Liddell, New York Yankee Jason Giambi and Jim Edmonds of the St. Louis Cardinals. Olivia WildeBefore joining the Timberlake festivities, Wilde (left), who plays Mischa Barton’s lesbian lover on the OC, had a spicy tuna and sea bass dinner at FIX where ‘Die Another Day’ actor Rick Yume and ‘Sin City’ actor Nick Stahl were at nearby tables. Then up to LIGHT for her official Vegas Magazine cover article party where she chatted with its writer E.C. Gladstone and told him she actually "went with" Justin to the Golden Globes prompting questions then and again Friday as to where was her husband? Then it was off for dancing with a group of gal pals in a barely-there silver lame slip, then onto neighboring JET for Justin! It was 3:30AM when Justin said, "lets play ball" and he took Eva, Alyssa and Olivia over to George Maloof’s Fantasy Tower at the Palms to play basketball in the 10,000 sq.ft, $25,000-a-day suite with two master bedrooms, a supersized jacuzzi and its very own basketball court! They were still dancing and shooting hoops past 5am!!
Luxe Life
How cute is that, that he spent a lot of time with his mom!

Is The Beckhams lifestyle to Posh for her to join Scientology? |
| February 19th, 2007 under The Beckhams. [ Comments: none ]
|
| Is Tom Cruise running into some bad Thetans in his effort to convert his new best friends to Scientology? The “Top Gun” star is reportedly eager to welcome sports star David Beckham and his wife Victoria Beckham to the celebrity-studded religion, but the buzz is he’s meeting resistance from the wife. “Tom spoke to David for hours about Scientology. He feels it could help to lift him out of the blues over his football career,” a “source close to the Beckhams” told the London Sun. “But Victoria is having none of it. She can’t see the point of joining something like that where you have to donate money.”
Scoop
In defense of Scientology, most of (including the big ones) ask you to donate. In defense of religions, they only ask for 10% not as much as Scientology wants. I wonder if this is going to lead to a fallout between the new Hollywood four-some?

Guy Ritchie gets the greenlight on his Suspects pilot |
| February 19th, 2007 under Madonna. [ Comments: none ]
|
| English director Guy Ritchie is venturing into television with "Suspects," an ABC drama pilot that he will direct and executive produce. "Suspects" is a procedural crime drama that tells the story of each suspect in a recently committed crime until the truth about which one of them committed the crime is revealed. Ritchie is best known for writing and directing "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" and "Snatch," as well as the infamous remake of "Swept Away," starring his wife, Madonna.
The Hollywood Reporter
I normally try not to post pilot updates because most of them don’t get picked up, but…I wonder if this one does, does that mean Madonna and him will be moving to the States?

Isaiah Washington, GLAAD to meet you |
| February 19th, 2007 under Shonda Rhimes. [ Comments: none ]
|
| ET has learned that "Grey’s Anatomy" star ISAIAH WASHINGTON will meet with the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) today to address his recent public slur regarding cast mate T.R. KNIGHT. In the midst of the public backlash over his derogatory remarks, Washington has also fired his longtime publicist. It was late last week when ET broke news that Washington had issued a statement of apology regarding his recent comments at the Golden Globes, when the actor said in the press room after the ceremony that he "did not call T.R. a ‘faggot’."
Entertainment Tonight
Next he will be hosting their award’s show, ok I won’t go that far but he will be a presenter with TR Knight at least. Maybe it is just me, but I just feel this is a publicity stunt for both sides?

The Razzie Noms are announced! |
| February 19th, 2007 under Razzies movies?. [ Comments: none ]

| Any honest Academy member will admit that Oscar voters are dealing with slim pickings for 2006. But at the other end of the quality scale, voters for this year’s 27th Annual RAZZIE® Awards had literally dozens of deserving contenders to choose from. And choose they have…and RAZZ the nominees they will, in ceremonies to be held at 7:30pm/PST on Oscar eve, Saturday, February 24 at Hollywood’s Ivar Theatre. Heading the dis-honor roll of Worst Achievements in Film this year are a lascivious murder mystery that turned out to be a laugh riot, and a comedy nearly as devoid of laughs as SCHINDLER’S LIST: Sharon Stone as a "femme fatale" The L.A. Times called "footloose and panty-free" in BASIC INSTINCT 2 and Shawn and Marlon Wayans in their brother Keenan Ivory Wayans’ blatant knock-off of a 1954 Bugs Bunny cartoon, LITTLE MAN. Each racked up 7 shots at the spray-painted gold statuettes no one in Hollywood really wants to "win." Joining these films in the final circle as Worst Picture nominees are M. Night Shyamalan’s brain-dead bedtime story (and box office dud) LADY IN THE WATER, Oscar winner Nicolas Cage donning an unconvincing bear suit in the laugh-out-loud funny remake of the Australian thriller WICKER MAN, and a film helmed by the man many Internet users consider the worst director alive today, Uwe Boll’s BLOODRAYNE. The Wayans brothers and Cage will be competing for Worst Actor of 2006 against last year’s "winner" Rob Schneider in BENCHWARMERS, former TV funnyman Tim Allen, with a trio of terrible titles (SANTA CLAUSE 3, SHAGGY DOG and ZOOM) and Larry the Cable Guy (Dan Whitney) as Larry the Cable Guy in LARRY THE CABLE GUY: HEALTH INSPECTOR. Vying with Stone for Worst Actress will be repeat offender Jessica Simpson (nominated this year for EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH), teen-idol (and terrible role model) Lindsay Lohan in JUST MY LUCK, newcomer Kristanna Loken in BLOODRAYNE and spelling-challenged risible siblings Hilary and Haylie Duff in MATERIALS GIRLS. Other well-known names and former Oscar darlings getting dinged with Golden Raspberry nods for 2006 include Ben Kingsley, Martin Short and Danny DeVito competing as Worst Supporting Actor, and RAZZIE® regulars Jenny McCarthy and Carmen Electra competing with LOST star Michelle Rodriguez, Kristin Chenoweth and Kate Bosworth (as an ultra-lame Lois Lane in SUPERMAN RETURNS) for Worst Supporting Actress. This year’s newest RAZZIE® category salutes the dearth of quality G and PG rated movie fare in 2006: Nominated as Worst Excuse for Family Entertainment are DECK THE HALLS, GARFIELD 2, RV, SANTA CLAUSE 3 and SHAGGY DOG. Links to the complete list of nominees are on the left column of this page. The RAZZIES® were created in 1980 by lifelong cinemaniac and cynic John Wilson, author of both THE OFFICIAL RAZZIE® MOVIE GUIDE and EVERYTHING I KNOW I LEARNED AT THE MOVIES. Nominees were determined by mailing ballots to 737 Golden Raspberry Foundation members throughout 42 US states and more than a dozen foreign countries. Should they choose to accept their RAZZIES® "winners" receive a gold-spray-painted, golf-ball-sized raspberry atop a mangled super 8 film reel, with an estimated street value of $4.97. For more information on the RAZZIE® Awards, and their ill-lustrious history, please visit www.razzies.com.
