Tobey Maguire is set to quit the role that made him a superstar by hanging up his spidey suit. Maguire will play the superhero in the forthcoming third movie in the series but says he wants to pursue other roles. He said: "Spiderman 3 might be a good place to stop – I am not tied contractually to any more Spiderman movies. "I am not completely closed to the idea of another one if it made sense but I would say the odds were in favour of this being the last one." And Kirsten Dunst looks set to quit her role as Mary Jane the franchise too. She said: "I’m not the type of actress who does movie after movie."

His soon-to-be-father-in-law saved his role for the second movie so if he wants Tobey in 4th one…Tobey will be in 4th one! Money talks and I doubt these two will walk especially if the 3rd one does great at the box office.

BILLY Bob Thornton’s drunken character in Bad Santa is the best-loved film Father Christmas, a poll revealed yesterday. Welsh actor Edmund Gwenn’s Kris Kringle in Miracle on 34th Street came second and Santa in South Park’s The Spirit of Christmas took third spot. Billy Mack’s sexy Santa girls from Love Actually were the fourth most loved while the cartoon St Nicholas in Father Christmas, voiced by comedian Mel Smith, was fifth. Hot Dog movie magazine, which carried out the poll, said: "Billy Bob Thornton’s Santa is one of the most entertaining you’re likely to encounter. Instead of spreading good cheer, he robs department stores." The survey also polled for the worst Santa – Angela Lansbury’s character in Mrs Santa Claus.

Is there trouble in reality show paradise? Jennifer Wilson, the winner of “The Bachelor: Rome” is already cheating on her bachelor, according to the National Enquirer. Just weeks after accepting a ring from Prince Lorenzo Borghese, the teacher from Pembroke Pines, Florida, is secretly dating Dan Herrero, another teacher from the school where she works, reports the tab. “I can’t believe I had just watched her accept the last rose from Prince Lorenzo on television, then only days later she was making out with Dan!” a source told the Enquirer. “When Dan asked Jennifer about what she was going to do about Lorenzo, she told him point blank that she doesn’t have any romantic feelings for him at all and has absolutely no intention of following through with their plans to start a future together,” says the pal. Wilson didn’t respond to the tab’s requests for comment, but Herrero adamantly denied the story, insisting that he’s merely “good friends” with Wilson. Three days later, however, they were spotted frolicking on a beach together, and the tab carried the photographs.
