Courtney and Kurt gave new meaning to White Christmas |

Courtney Love has discussed her Christmases spent with ex-husband and Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain. Love has revealed how she spent a Christmas with Cobain on a hunt for dope in her recently published diaries. She said: "We spent one Christmas at the Inn At The Market (a hotel in Seattle) and another Christmas at the Four Seasons – we spent Christmases in hotels. And it was really challenging because even the dope dealers take Christmas off. Well, not all the dope dealers… "Kurt had this friend called Dylan and I found Dylan one Christmas hiding in my basement. Dylan had found a dope dealer. But, y’know, we were a family with a new born, so other than dope – which was just a part of our lives, it was almost like medicine in terms of Kurt’s stomach condition – it wasn’t really what you’d call a ‘celebrity lifestyle’." The singer added that she and Cobain liked to give each other lavish gifts. She said: "We made a lot of art for each other and wrote songs for each other – more creative kinds of gifts."

Not what you would call a celebrity lifestyle? True it what you call a strung up junkie’s lifestyle.

Former-Days star joins B&B |

Whoa! CBS’ The Bold and the Beautiful has cast Kyle Lowder (ex-Brady Black, Days of our Lives) as the new Rick Forrester. Lowder reported to work on the B&B set last week, and he first airs on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2007. And happily, he’s on contract. Rick is the son of fashionistas Eric Forrester and Brooke Logan (John McCook, Katherine Kelly Lang). The character has recently been away on business in Europe. Rick returns to L.A. to support his daddy’s new fashion label, Forrester Originals. FYI, Justin Torkildsen played Rick full time from 2001 to 2004. He has made return visits during the last couple of years, but they’ve always been brief. Clearly, B&B chief Bradley Bell is now aiming for a more mature take on the character.

Personally I have not missed him on Days, so I am glad he is going to soap I do not watch.

The sand has run out for two actors on Days of our Lives |

OK, just one last post about NBC’s Days of our Lives today. I know, I totally have Salem fever! As previously reported, Renee Jones has been let go from her role as Dr. Alexandra "Lexie" Carver. I can now tell you that Jones and Rhasaan Orange — who plays Lexie’s cop lover, Thomas Edward "Tek" Kramer — will last be seen in Salem on Monday, Jan. 22, 2007. Will Lexie and Tek hook up and skip town together? We’ll have to stay tuned and see. But it’s disappointing that Lexie — who is Stefano’s daughter — is exiting the canvas just as Days is firing up its DiMera plotlines again. "Although Renee is leaving the show, her character is still at large and has the possibility to return," states Days’ executive producer, Ken Corday. In other Days news, soap vet Judi Evans has also been let go from her role as the trashy, tacky and superfun Bonnie Lockhart. No last airdate is available for her yet. What a Debbie Downer. Bwa bwaaaa…

I am so happy that Lexie is gone!!! But I am so upset they are getting rid of Judi Evans. I was really hoping Bonnie and Patch were going to get to do a scene together and that he would ask her if she is his sister!!! But sadly that will not happen…:(

Jimmy Fallon and Sharon Stone team up for Elliot Rockett |

Jimmy Fallon and Sharon Stone have committed to star in "Eliot Rockett," an indie drama to shoot in February. Fallon also has made a deal with Universal Pictures to star in an untitled comedy he hatched. Tom Shadyac and Michael Bostick will produce at Shady Acres. Fallon will co-write the screenplay; project is a potential directing vehicle for Shadyac. "Eliot Rockett" marks the feature directing debut of Patrick Sisam, who wrote the script with Rick Velleu based on short stories by Ethan Canin. Fallon will play a man devoted to his work but unable to commit to his girlfriend or anything else in his personal life. He returns to his hometown after his estranged father suffers a stroke. Stone will play his mother, a central figure in his dysfunctional past. Neither Universal nor Shady Acres would reveal the logline for the untitled comedy, but all made clear that it is being crafted to fit the talents that Fallon displayed on "Saturday Night Live." "Jimmy walked in, started the pitch by pulling out his guitar, and within two minutes we’d fallen for a pitch that takes advantage of all his skills and musical abilities," Bostick said. "He plays a musician, the comedy is set in the world of music, and he’s charming, likable and laugh-out-loud funny." Shadyac recently wrapped "Evan Almighty" with Steve Carell. Bostick said they will move quickly to set a co-writer to work with Fallon.

Not sure what is worse…Jimmy Fallon doing an indie drama or the fact he is working with Sharon Stone? This is on my must skip list!

What is Matthew Fox’s fate on LOST? |
December 18th, 2006 under Lost. [ Comments: none ]

From Elka: Any definite word yet on whether Matthew Fox is getting killed off of Lost? I hope you’re sitting down for this, because I have a direct quote from Matthew Fox himself, who (during press for We Are Marshall) told our very own E! cameras: "I’m not on Lost anymore. I’m done with that. I’m not going back. And it has nothing to do with my movie career. They killed me off." Beep, beep, BEEP, BEEP!!! Do you hear that? It’s the sound of our B.S. meter going off the charts! To put it plainly, if Matthew Fox says he’s getting killed off, assuredly he is not actually getting killed. Unless…crap…Could he be doing a double-flip mind trip on us? Argh. This show is gonna be the end of me!
From Amy: Got anything on Lost? Matthew also said, "The most exciting 16 episodes of television are coming up in the spring. And there are going to be so many things that happen. Unfortunately, I can’t tell you any of it." I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Argh.
Watch with Kristin
What does that mean? I can’t say I will miss him if they do kill him off, but then again I might?
