At last! Life & Style has learned exclusively that Oprah Winfrey, 52, and longtime beau Stedman Graham, 55, are set to make it official — they’re going to cohabitate! "They will be moving together to a new place," a rep for Oprah confirms. Could this be the first step towards marriage? Insiders tell Life & Style that Oprah and Stedman could finally be ready to walk down the isle. “At Oprah’s age she no longer feels she has to prove anything about being a strong single woman," says one insider. "She’s happy to let Stedman have what he wants.” While the rep downplays talk of nuptials, the insider says Chicago would be the frontrunner for the wedding location — and Oprah just bought the perfect love nest there: a $6 million, 5,000-square-foot apartment! Congrats to Oprah and Stedman!

Actor Mike Evans, best known as Lionel Jefferson in the TV comedy series "All in the Family" and "The Jeffersons," has died. He was 57. Evans died of throat cancer Dec. 14 at his mother’s home in Twentynine Palms, said his niece, Chrystal Evans. Evans, along with Eric Monte, also created and wrote for "Good Times," one of the first TV comedy series that featured a primarily black cast. Michael Jonas Evans was born Nov. 3, 1949, in Salisbury, North Carolina. His father, Theodore Evans Sr., was a dentist while his mother, Annie Sue Evans, was a school teacher. The family moved to Los Angeles when Evans was a child. He studied acting at Los Angeles City College before getting the role of Lionel Jefferson in the 1970s situation comedy "All in the Family." Evans kept the role of Lionel when "The Jeffersons" launched in 1975. The hit show was a spinoff featuring bigoted Archie Bunker’s black neighbours in Queens who "move on up to the East Side" of Manhattan. Evans was replaced by Damon Evans (no relation) for four years, then he returned to the series from 1979 to 1981. He also acted in the 1976 TV miniseries "Rich Man, Poor Man" and made guest appearances on the TV series "Love, American Style" and "The Streets of San Francisco." His last role was in a 2000 episode of "Walker, Texas Ranger." In recent years he had invested in real estate in Southern California.

I didn’t know he created Good Times and that is why he left The Jefferson. That is still one of my favorite shows.

Updated with the correct Lionel…thank you to the person who pointed that out. I have to admit I assumed because Mother Jefferson was in the photo that I had the right Lionel Jefferson. I was never able to tell the difference between the two Lionels and also the two Darrens.

It must be Christmas! The word on the street is that Paris Hilton has given up her dreams of being a fully fledged pop star after her debut album didn’t go down very well. Paris released the self titled album earlier this year, but after having a dabble, she has called it quits. A source told the Daily Star: "You don’t need to worry about listening to any more music from Paris – there won’t be any. "Her career as a singer is going to be allowed to quietly go away." Yayyy…

Jessica Simpson’s father and manager Joe has fired troubled Prison Break star Lane Garrison from his daughter’s latest movie project. Garrison was a troubled youth in Texas when he moved in with his family’s minister–Joe Simpson. Even though he is still close to the Simpson family, Joe had to let him go from the film because he was set to play a character who was continually drunk. Simpson is currently filming Blonde Ambition with Luke Wilson in Shreveport, Louisiana. Garrison was involved in a car crash earlier this month that killed Vahagn Setian, 17, and injured two other passengers. Alcohol is thought to have been a factor in the crash. This is the latest trouble that Garrison has faced. Just one week after the crash, someone stole his identity and wiped out his entire bank account.

If Joe Simpson has that much power on the movie,  no wonder that movie is being considered to go straight to DVD? 

Barbara Walters, the creator of ABC’s "The View," commented on the ongoing feud between her co-host Rosie O’Donnell and Donald Trump. In a statement given to The ShowBuzz Thursday, Walters said: "Donald Trump is a personal friend of mine and has been a good friend to ‘The View’ for many years. I’m sorry there is friction between Donald and Rosie. That said, I do not regret for one moment my choice to hire Rosie O’Donnell as the moderator of ‘The View’. I certainly hope and expect that this tempest will pass quickly." After Thursday’s "View," Trump phoned into "Good Day LA" and said: "Let me tell you something, Barbara Walters is a good friend of mine, she cannot stand Rosie O’Donnell." He added that he doesn’t plan on appearing on the ABC program again. Trump didn’t stop there. He continued to bash O’Donnell on the FOX News Channel and "Larry King Live." He responded to Walter’s statement by saying, "Well, I can tell you for a fact that that’s not what Barbara told me. Barbara is not a fan of Rosie. She’s embarrassed by Rosie. She doesn’t like Rosie. And I guess she can’t say that publicly. But trust me, Larry, that’s what she told me over the phone." Walters, who did not appear on Thursday’s show, is out of the country according to a rep.
