ELIZABETH Taylor and Michael Jackson have been pals for years – but La Liz once blew her stack at Wacko Jacko for seating her too far away from the stage at one of his L.A. shows. "They told me she had gone home – mad," Jackson tells J. Randy Taraborrelli, author of the new Taylor bio, "Elizabeth." "The next day, I called her, and I cried because I felt so awful. [She said], ‘Michael, a star such as myself never sits in the cheap seats!’ "

I can so hear her saying that.

Actor Tom Cruise has a new award from Australia to add to his collection — for being the most sexist celebrity. About 400 of Australia’s most powerful women gathered in the New South Wales state parliament late Thursday to decide on the winners of the 14th annual "Ernie Awards" which are handed out for the worst derogatory public statements. The awards were named after a trade union leader called Ernie whose union members included sheep shearers. He once famously said: "Women aren’t welcome in the shearing sheds. They’re only after the sex."The "Ernies" have an international flavor — and Cruise was awarded the 2006 Celebrity Ernie.Dumped by Paramount Pictures for his erratic behavior, Cruise won for a comment he made about his pregnant partner Katie Holmes: "I’ve got Katie tucked away so no one will get to us until my child is born."

It just keeps getting worst for him.

Ronnie Wood calls his bandmates boring |

WITH a combined age of 249, the Rolling Stones can be forgiven for taking life at a more leisurely pace than most. But in an unexpected foul-mouthed rant, guitarist Ronnie Wood has blasted his bandmates for being BORING.The youngest of the Stones at 59, Ronnie has hit out at Sir Mick Jagger, 63, Charlie Watts, 65, and 62-year-old Keith Richards for preferring to go to BED instead of partying."They can’t f***ing take it," the rocker growled at us."They always have to go home to rest. Instead they leave all the f***ing partying up to me."The guitarist’s outburst happened at the private VIP viewing of Ron’s artwork at his Scream gallery in Mayfair, London. And when asked why his bandmates weren’t there that evening to support him, Ronnie stormed: "They’re all probably in bed."Ron’s catty remark comes after the rest of the aging band members preferred to hit the sack than attend his all-night house party on Sunday night. The bash after the Stones’ storming Twickenham gig was so wild and raucous that police were called to get Ron to turn the music down at 4am. Although Ronnie’s been off the booze since his stint in rehab, we revealed how he’s found a new fix – inhaling laughing gas-filled balloons. Talking about his new chemical attraction, the old rocker joked: "I had a lot of fun with my balloons, I’ll certainly be doing them again."
3AM
When he hits his 60s like the rest of them he too will be home sleeping.

Did Brooke Shields bring down Tom Cruise? |

Daily Mail reports:
The unknown trophy wife of a Hollywood film executive has been revealed as the unlikely driving force behind Tom Cruise’s dramatic firing this week. Paula Fortunato, 43, the wife of 83-year-old Sumner Redstone, the Viacom chairman who sacked Cruise, took a dislike to the actor after he publicly criticised the actress Brooke Shields for using post-natal anti-depressants. An ‘incensed’ Fortunato advised her ageing husband that the comments Cruise made live on television, which are in line with his Scientology beliefs, had forever turned female fans off him.
And the New York Daily News has:
Spielberg’s longtime producing partner, Kathleen Kennedy, yesterday disputed claims that the director was miffed over Cruise’s behavior while promoting "War of the Worlds" last summer."It’s not true," Kennedy, who produced the movie, told the Daily News. "[Cruise] was a consummate professional. He’s done nothing wrong." Kennedy said Cruise realizes he went over the line when he bashed Shields for taking antidepressants to fight postpartum depression. "That, he deeply regrets," she said.
I just find it interesting 2 stories, 2 views from 2 different countries both on the same subject. Just a thought?

Jackie Mason sues Jews for Jesus |

Jackie Mason is suing Jews for Jesus, claiming the missionary group damaged him by using his name and likeness in a pamphlet. "While I have the utmost respect for people who practice the Christian faith, the fact is, as everyone knows, I am as Jewish as a matzo ball or kosher salami," the 75-year-old comedian said in documents filed in state Supreme Court in Manhattan. Founded in the 1970s, Jews for Jesus practices Judaism but regards Jesus as the Messiah. The $2 million lawsuit seeks the immediate destruction of the pamphlets, which Jews for Jesus members have been handing out at various points around New York City. The pamphlets feature an image of Mason next to the words "Jackie Mason … A Jew for Jesus!?" with information inside that outlines the similarities between Jews and Christians. "The pamphlet uses my name, my likeness, my `shtick’ (if you will), and my very act, which is derived from my personality, to attract attention and converts," Mason said in an affidavit. Susan Perlman, a spokeswoman for Jews for Jesus, said the pamphlet was "good-natured." "Shame on him for getting so upset about this," she said Friday.

WTF were they thinking? Seriously logic?
