When you think of all of the ideal celebrities who Dancing with the Stars should cast to be on the ABC show,
William Shatner seems like he would be on the top of the list. Sadly though, we will not be seeing him on the dancing competition program. He came up with a brilliant way to get out of it. The Star Trek leader revealed on Twitter his secret, “See? I was smart! I latched on to @Tom_Bergeron as a friend to disqualify myself! 😉👍🏻 #geniusmove.” Too bad we will not see his genius dance moves in the ballroom. Therefore, I think they need to get rid of that rule because we need the Shat and Josh Groban on the program.
BTW how does Captain Kirk’s friend feel about his evil plan? Tom Bergeron Tweeted back, “So our ‘friendship’ has just been a clever ruse to avoid competing on @DancingABC? That’s such a sneaky, Kirk-ish thing to do! #RomulanEars.” Poor Tom.
