Vince Neil has been keeping a secret. On Christmas Day, he suffered a stroke that left his left side paralyzed. Telling Neon, “I had to learn to walk again, and that was tough.”
He spent months regaining his ability to walk. “I went from people carrying me to the bathroom, because I couldn’t walk myself, finally to a wheelchair,” Neil says. “I graduated to a walker, and then I had a cane. Now I don’t need anything. But it’s like a full-time job getting back to where you feel good again.”
The diagnosis was so grim that doctors told him that he would not be able to perform on stage again. But he told them he was going to, and he will be back on stage with Mötley Crüe during their Las Vegas residency on October 3rd.
The singer is not 100%, but every day he gets closer to being who he was on December 24, 2024.
