How many times have you watch a morning news show do a makeover on someone and they looked worse than when they came in. The person tries to pretend that they love the change, but you know that they hate it as much as we do.
Today on This Morning, they gave a 47-year-old woman a new look for her high school reunion on Friday and it was terrible. They put her in tight-fitting velvet pink dress that was not flattering to her figure with white cowboy boots, bleached blonde hair from the golden era of movies and makeup that even a drag queen would say tone it down to.
How did she react? She cried and the hosts tried to reassure that they will let her choose whatever she wants to be done for the redo. Before she could get a makeover to her makeover, she had to do lunch with her husband as a gift from the show.
As they were leaving the stage, she was arguing with her husband. Then they got into the car and when they started to drive away, it crashed.
Holly Willoughby was devastated for this poor woman. Instead of her co-anchor Phillip Schofield comforting her, he told her it was all an April’s Fool Day joke.
Then the stylists were like, do you think we would do that on purpose? Which was insulting them, but then again she could not say to them that she hated what they did on live TV. Thus, she was screwed either way.
Personally, I don’t think they went far enough. I would have used Divine as my role model and gone even bigger than that. If you can?
