The Golden Globes were on January 11th, and Stephen Graham already lost the one he won for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Limited Series, Anthology Series, or a Motion Picture Made for Television.
How did the Adolescence star do that? The actor told the hosts on Capital Breakfast that he needed to catch a flight to Madrid the next day. However, after he landed in Atlanta, he only had 35 minutes to catch his connecting flight.
So a kind airport employee met him at the stairs and drove him across the runway to catch his flight. There was only one problem: she didn’t take his luggage with her.
She assured him that they would take care of his suitcase. But when he landed, it was not there.
Why was he so worried about it? In it, he said it had, “My socks, my pants, my toothbrush… and a Golden Globe.” The latter being the most important item.
Does this story have a happy ending? Yes, it does! When you are famous enough, and your cargo holds something even more famous, they make sure to get it back to you within two days and not let it go to the place where our missing baggage goes to.
