Jeb Brody (Producer), Taylor Stuewe (Associate Producer), Austin Lee (Associate Producer), Benji Samit (Writer), Dan Hernandez (Writer), Adam Merims (Line Producer/EP), Anthony Carrigan, Lewis Pullman, Josh Gad, and the legendary and beloved Rick Moranis got together for their first table read for the sequel, which will also star the one and only Mel Brooks.
I am sure you are going to say to me, “Ye, of little faith,” but that is what I have for this film. If it fails, then I believe that Gad needs to be stopped. He keeps trying to do sequels or remakes of his childhood favorites, like Honey, I Shrunk the Kids and Stay Tuned, but they fizzle out. And there is probably a very good reason for that. Some people are more suited to read other people’s works, and not their own. I think he is one of those people.
Spaceball 2 is expected to be released in 2027, 40 years after the OG.
