Tracy Morgan was critically injured in a 6-car pile up on the New Jersey Turnpike this morning and he is in intensive car at a NJ hospital today. The extent of his injuries at this time are unknown.
According to
CNN the comedian was traveling back home in a limo bus from a gig he had done in Dover, Delaware on Friday night when it got into the accident.
NBC10 says that the vehicle he was in overturned. There were 6 people in the limo bus, one person was killed, three were critical injured including Morgan and one person was in fair condition.
This is not his first health scare. Back 2010, he underwent a kidney transplant due to complications from diabetes.
So today take a moment and pray for Tracy Morgan and his friends.
UPDATE: Someone just posted this photo of Tracy Morgan on his WhoSay account at 7:30a from Friday night and said, “Delaware holla!!!!” The Tweet and the photo were removed within 10 minutes after their posting.
UPDATE 2: His family released this statement to KABC:
“Tracy remains in critical condition at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital. He sustained these injuries in an accident that occurred early this morning as one of several passengers in a chauffeured SUV returning from a tour date in Delaware. His family is now with him and he is receiving excellent care. We don’t anticipate much of a change in his condition today but will provide a further update once more information becomes available.”
