In 2022, Phil Collins retired from music due to health problems from a 2007 neck injury, which eventually left the drummer with nerve damage to his hands, along with knee problems, kidney issues, and type 2 diabetes. Since then, he has rarely been seen.
Last week, the Genesis singer attended The King’s Trust 50th Anniversary Party at Buckingham Palace, and posed in a photo with Rod Stewart and his wife, Penny Lancaster. In that picture, you can see he looks good as he stands with the help of crutches. It is showing that he is still strong and not letting the ailments keep him down.
Who knows, maybe someday he will be able to make music again.
