Starbucks is retiring 13 drinks
February 24th, 2025 under Fast Food. [ Comments: 1 ]

Have you ever been to Starbucks and been like they have too many drinks to choose from? Starting on March 4th, they will be removing 13 from their menu.

“As part of our plan to get back to Starbucks, we’re simplifying our menu to focus on fewer, more popular items, executed with excellence,” Starbucks tells TODAY.com. “This will make way for innovation, help reduce wait times, improve quality and consistency, and align with our core identity as a coffee company.”

The unlucky 13 are:

Iced Matcha Lemonade: As an alternative, Starbucks recommends trying its Green Tea Lemonade, which shares similar citrus and grassy flavors.

Espresso Frappuccino, Caffè Vanilla Frappuccino: Instead, Starbucks suggests the Coffee Frappuccino, which features a blend of coffee, milk and ice. This beverage can also be customized to add a shot of espresso or pump of syrup.

White Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino: As a substitute, Starbucks says to try its Mocha Frappuccino.

Java Chip Frappuccino: Instead, Starbucks suggests the Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino, which contains chocolate bits with a similar texture.

Chai Crème Frappuccino, Caramel Ribbon Crunch Crème Frappuccino, Double Chocolaty Chip Crème Frappuccino, Chocolate Cookie Crumble Crème Frappuccino and White Chocolate Crème Frappuccino: As an alternative, Starbucks suggests the Vanilla Bean Frappuccino, which can be customized with flavorings, or the Strawberry Frappuccino.

White Hot Chocolate: As a substitute, Starbucks says its Hot Chocolate can be customized with Mocha or White Chocolate Mocha sauce.

Royal English Breakfast Latte: Instead, Starbucks recommends its London Fog Latte, which has similar sweet floral notes.

Honey Almondmilk Flat White: As an alternative, Starbucks suggests the Flat White, which can be customized with any nondairy milk and sweetener of choice.

These are just the first drinks to go to Starbucks Heaven, more will be added in the future. When they are done doing an Elon Musk, they will have shrunk their menu by about 30%.

The news is not all bad. The coffee restaurant will be announcing their Spring drinks soon.

Which drink are you going to miss the most?

BTWF: Sarah Paulson on Law & Order

Before Sarah Paulson played Marcia Cross in American Crime Story, she needed a lawyer like her on Law & Order. She looks the same now as she did when she was 19 in that 1994 episode.

Beyoncé’s ASSets are the star of the Levi’s commercial
February 24th, 2025 under Beyoncé. [ Comments: none ]

Levi’s released their second Beyoncé commercial today. If their jeans could make my ass look as sexy and curvaceous as hers, I will be buying them in bulk. That is why they focused on her butt more than anything else.

Although, as a woman, I am watching to see how the jeans would look on me. Men are looking at her thinking what it would be like to have her on them.

Linda Lavin’s last show Mid-Century Modern will debut in March
February 24th, 2025 under Hulu, Matt Bomer. [ Comments: none ]

Ryan Murphy is trying his luck at sitcoms with Mid-Century Modern, and he has the producers and cast to back him up.

The comedy stars Nathan Lane, Matt Bomer, Nathan Lee Graham, and the late Linda Lavin. Lavin was filming this series when she passed away from lung cancer on December 29th.

The show comes from Will & Grace’s creators, Max Mutchnick and David Kohan, and the Sitcom King, Director James Burrows.

Mid-Century Modern follows three best friends – gay gentlemen of a certain age – who, after an unexpected death, decide to spend their golden years living together in Palm Springs where the wealthiest one lives with his mother. As a chosen family, they prove that no matter how hard things get, there’s always someone around to remind you it would be better if you got your neck done.

MCM filmed a few episodes in January after the actress died, but they never said how they will be handling her passing. I hope they do it respectfully because she deserves it. We lost an amazing talent when we lost her.

Mid-Century Modern premieres March 28th on Hulu.

Have you ever wished there was a chocolate version of the Ring Pop?
February 24th, 2025 under Junk Food. [ Comments: none ]

Do you remember, as a kid, you would get the Ring Pop and suck on the candy jewel? It was so much fun. And now I know a good teaching lesson.

Sorry, back to the story. Did you ever wish there was a chocolate version? Well, for a limited time there will be one this Spring! And it comes with bling, as in sprinkles.

“For years, Ring Pop has played a role in making every seasonal celebration exciting and over the top!” says Allison McCants, Senior Director Seasonal Innovation at Bazooka Brands. “With the new Milk Chocolate Ring Pop, we’re taking that to the next level. Combining the excitement of the iconic Ring Pop brand and the love our fans have for chocolate, we can’t wait to see how this sweet innovation becomes part of their celebrations!”

As much as I love this idea, I foresee one problem with it. You can’t wear it on your finger because it will leave your finger and hand covered with milk chocolate.

The box with two chocolate Ring Pops will be available at Walmart for $2.00.
