Emily Osment has had many wonderful weeks in her life, but this week will be one of her best ever.
That is because the actress started it off by getting married to Jack Anthony in front of her friends and family, including her brother Haley Joel, who served as a groomsman.
“We worked really hard on, on putting, putting this “party” together,” she tells Drew Barrymore on November 5th’s The Drew Barrymore Show. “I mean, it was a wedding, but we brought all the elements that we love so much about each other and her friends and her family together. And so it really felt like a party which was the best.”
The newlyweds met in 2001 at a concert where he was dancing like a lunatic. She liked his dance moves, so she introduced herself to him, and they have been dancing ever since.
Anthony proposed to the Hannah Montana star in the late spring of 2003.
Today is also a big night for the new Mrs. Anthony. Her show Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage debuts on CBS tonight at 8p tonight. So, life is imitating art for her because she is also a newlywed on the Chuck Lorre spinoff of Young Sheldon, which spun off of The Big Bang Theory.
In the old days, celebrities were the cool nursery school parents if they appeared on Sesame Street. But today, these kids aren’t asking how to get to Sesame Street. Instead, they want to know where they can sing along with Ms. Rachel.
So, if a singer were going to appear on any children’s show, that would be the one. Because of that, John Legend made his children very popular because he sang his nursery rhyme L-O-V-E with the toddlers’ biggest idol.
“SURPRISE,” he wrote. “I had the pleasure of singing “L-O-V-E” with Ms. Rachel whose work has meant so much to my own children and millions of families around the world.”
And now Lunsa, 8, Miles, 6, and Esti and Wren, 1-year-olds, can go to school and show and tell all those other kids that their dad is the coolest dad in the world and mean it.
He wasn’t groovy because he wrote songs for them, is an EGOT winner, and has been a coach on The Voice. He is bombtastic because he sang with Ms. Rachel.
And now famous people with toddlers are DMing her to do the same!
Before Liam Payne came in third place on The X Factor with One Direction, he did a solo audition on the competition talent show. You could tell that the 14-year-old was destined to be a star during that 2008 performance.
