Proof Seth MacFarlane and Christopher Knight are not the same person
March 23rd, 2026 under Not The Same Person, Seth MacFarlane, The Brady Bunch. [ Comments: none ]

I never realized this until now, but Seth MacFarlane looks a lot like Peter Brady, I mean, The Brady Bunch’s Christopher Knight. So much so, I am wondering if that is the greatest prank the man of 1,000 voices has ever played on us. As in, he has been the middle Brady all along, and we never knew it.

But then again, how could that be if he wasn’t even alive when the family show was originally on the air? It can’t be. Because we just learned that they are two different people, thanks to two of them hanging out at the infamous house at the same time.

And I don’t think I have ever seen the Family Guy look happier than he does in this photo. You can tell this is a childhood dream come true. Hanging with a Brady at the Brady house. Heck, that is my dream too. I have hung out with the Bradys and been at their house, but never with one of them at the place within walking distance of where I live. How groovy would that be?

BTWF: Jason Alexander in The Burning

Before Jason Alexander was friends with Jerry, Elaine, and Kramer on Seinfeld, he had different friends in The Burning. He looks the same now as he did when he was 21 in that 1981 movie, except that he had a full head of hair.

B.J.’s Restaurant’s April Fool’s Day Pizookie
March 23rd, 2026 under Fast Food. [ Comments: none ]

We are a week and a half away from April 1st, and B.J.’s Restaurant announced how they are celebrating the day. For one day only, you can order a Sweet Heat Pepperoni Pizookie for $4.01. The sweet and spicy treat starts with BJ’s classic warm Chocolate Chunk Pizookie® base, then topped with two scoops of Rich Vanilla Bean ice cream, crispy cup-and-char pepperoni, and the cherry on top is a drizzle of Mike’s Hot Honey.

“We’ve always believed that great ideas can come from unexpected places,” said Heidi Rogers, Chief Marketing Officer at BJ’s Restaurants, Inc. “The Sweet Heat Pepperoni Pizookie® is our most fearless creation yet, bringing together the warm comfort of our world famous Pizookie® with flavors inspired by our revamped pizza. It’s creative, intentional, and fun—and April Fool’s Day felt like the perfect moment to launch this.”

This is the third April Fool’s Day in a row that they have tricked their customers. In 2024, they served the Pizickle Pizookie®, which was topped with dill pickle slices. A year later, they upped the game with the Fryckle Pizookie®, which was covered with fried pickles.

April 1st is my birthday, and now I know where I am going for lunch! Who wants to come with me?

Charlie Puth’s pitch perfect name for his son!
March 23rd, 2026 under Charlie Puth. [ Comments: none ]

March 2026 is a memorable one for Charlie Puth because he had two babies during this month.

On March 13th, he and his wife, Brooke Sansone, welcomed their first child, a boy whom they named Jude Crawford. And yes, he is already lulling the 10-day-old baby to sleep with The Beatles’ Hey Jude. The first of many tunes he will be playing for his son.

That is baby #1. On March 27th, he will be releasing his fourth studio album, Whatever’s Clever!

The Puths have known each other forever because their fathers are childhood school buddies. The two didn’t start dating until June 2022 and got married in September 2024.

Congrats to the proud parents.

CIA gets a promotion, Star Trek: Starfleet Academy gets a demotion
March 23rd, 2026 under Dick Wolf, Star Trek. [ Comments: none ]

Mark Schafer/CBS

The good news is that CBS picked up CIA for a second season. And it was a long road to get there. Dick Wolf’s latest drama, which stars Tom Ellis and Nick Gehlfuss, lost showrunners and cast members before the premiere, which was delayed almost a year. However, enough people are watching, so the network is staying with it.

Meanwhile, Paramount+ recently picked up Star Trek: Starfleet Academy for a second season, only to announce today it will be its last.

“We’re incredibly proud of the ambition, passion, and creativity that went into bringing ‘Star Trek: Starfleet Academy’ to life,” CBS Studios and Paramount+ said in a joint statement to Variety. “The series introduced audiences to a bold new group of characters, welcomed familiar faces, and expanded the ‘Star Trek’ universe in exciting new ways. We’re grateful to Alex Kurtzman, Noga Landau, Gaia Violo, and the entire cast and crew who pushed storytelling boundaries in the spirit of Gene Roddenberry’s vision. We look forward to sharing the upcoming second and final season with everyone, and continuing to celebrate the cast, crew, and all that was accomplished with this series.”

Which network do you think made the right choice?
