Boy Bands looked like they were living glamorous lives on MTV and in magazines, but there was a lot of ugliness going on behind the scenes. Joey Fatone and fellow ’90s Boy Banders are finally telling their truth in Boy Band Confidential.
Fatone will be joined by *NSYNC member Lance Bass, AJ McLean of Backstreet Boys, Nick Lachey of 98 Degrees, Wanya Morris and Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men, Ashley Parker Angel of O-Town, Brad Fischetti of LFO, and a few more.
“Being in a boy band was one of the greatest experiences of my life, but it also came with challenges we didn’t always understand at the time,” said BOY BAND CONFIDENTIAL Executive Producer, Joey Fatone. “This project gave all of us a chance to reflect, to be honest, and to share what really happened behind the spotlight.”
They were huge stars who looked like they were living the dream, but in interviews, they will talk about the abuse, addiction, and financial manipulation that we didn’t know about until now, and discover they were living a nightmare.
What will the boys reveal to us? Find out on April 13th and April 14th on ID.
The two-night, four-hour event is part of the Hollywood Demons series, which will be back for a second season starting on April 20th. The second season will tackle The Jerry Springer Show, Saved by the Bell, and 16 and Pregnant, child stars whose success propelled them into shocking adult trajectories, and celebrity doctors who over prescribed to death.
If you are most people, you are Team HUNTR/X. But if you are me, then you are Team Saja Boys.
That was the movie. The bands are going to McDonald’s to battle it out with their own meals. You will get to vote on which one you like better. And who knows, you might be coming over to my side.
Here are the two meals:
For the Pride: The Saja Boys Breakfast Meal
Think you can resist the Saja Boys? The hottest K-pop demon group is stealing the spotlight with the Saja Boys Breakfast Meal, channeling their signature heartthrob charm with a:
Spicy Saja McMuffin®: A Sausage McMuffin® with Egg, topped with a peppery Spicy Saja Sauce — inspired by the fire of Gwi-Ma.
Hash Browns: Our signature hash browns, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside — just like the Saja Boys’ leader Jinu.
Small Soft Drink: Your choice of a little “Soda Pop” to cool down from the heat.
For the Hunters: The HUNTR/X Meal
HUNTR/X is taking the stage for the rest of the day to show fans “how it’s done, done, done!” The HUNTR/X Meal makes the Golden Arches even more “Golden” and includes a 10-piece. Chicken McNuggets®, medium soft drink, and three limited-time menu items:
Ramyeon McShaker™ Fries: A spicy, umami spin on our World Famous Fries® featuring a soy, garlic, sesame and spice seasoning — inspired by Rumi, Mira and Zoey’s go-to snack. Sprinkle the seasoning into the McShaker bag, add fries, and shake for a bold taste that’s true to South Korean flavors.
Hunter Sauce: A sweet chili sauce mixing notes of chili, garlic, and pepper with just enough heat inspired by HUNTR/X’s fierce, yet fun-loving personalities.
Demon Sauce: A bold mustard sauce with heat and tang — made purple, just like demon patterns.
I have to admit, since I don’t like breakfast, I am switching teams.
Each meal comes with an exclusive photocard for either HUNTR/X or the Saja Boys and a Derpy access card. Fans can scan the QR code on each Derpy access card and enter the unique code on the McDonald’s App by April 26 to unlock first access to exclusive content and a special reveal of the group that wins the Battle for the Fans.
The K-Pop Demon Hunter Meals will be available starting on March 31st. You can order the meal, then go home and Netflix & Chill with it and the movie that took the world by storm.
Barbie and Wonder Woman have been fictional inspirational women figures to girls all over the world. And now, those little girls can get their own Wonder Woman Barbie to play with in honor of her 85 years of being a heroine.
She is wearing her signature DC comic book red and blue star-spangled tank suit with her golden eagle chest plate, her emblem at the waist, a golden headpiece, red earrings, ‘Bullet-proof’ wrist cuffs, and knee-high red and white boots. And of course, she has the Lasso of Truth because she is not Wonder Woman without it.
The collectible Barbie is only available for a limited time, as supplies last. Don’t sleep on her because she will be gone before The Flash.
The good news is that For All Mankind will be back for its sixth season. The bad news is that it will be the alternate timeline that takes on space travel show’s last one on Apple TV.
“Getting to explore the ‘For All Mankind’ universe over six seasons has been an amazing privilege, and we’re thrilled to have the opportunity to finish the story the way we’ve always hoped,” said Wolpert and Nedivi. “We’re incredibly proud of what this series has become, and grateful to Apple TV and Sony Pictures Television for helping us see it through to its final chapter.”
Before we get to that chapter, we still have to get through season 5, which premieres on Friday. This upcoming season picks up in the 2010s, years since the Goldilocks asteroid heist. Happy Valley has grown into a thriving colony with thousands of residents and a base for new missions that will take us even further into the solar system. But with the nations of Earth now demanding law and order on the Red Planet, friction continues to build between the people who live on Mars and their former home.
I got into the series because my friend had a bit role in season 1, and I was hooked. The first three seasons were ingenious in how they handled being set in a parallel timeline that had successfully colonized the Moon and Mars, and all the greed and BS that goes along with that. However, last season, after they moved to Mars, it started to lose me. It stopped being about space exploration and became more about the strife between Mars and Earth.
I will stick with it for the final two seasons, but I think they are smart to be ending it.
