Paul Rudd looking sexy
April 11th, 2024 under Paul Rudd. [ Comments: none ]

Paul Rudd is on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert tonight. Before he went into the studio, the talk show caught him walking in. And the recently tuned 55-year-old looked as youthful and handsome as ever.

Will time ever catch up to him? Not that I want it to! But it is also not fair to those of us who age.

Before we knew Paul Rudd to be picture perfect, he starred in Picture Perfect. He looks the same now as he did when he was 22 in that 1992 short. But we knew that!

S.W.A.T. just won’t die!
April 11th, 2024 under Shemar Moore. [ Comments: 1 ]

Bill Inoshita/Sony Pictures Television/CBS

Last year, CBS canceled S.W.A.T., but the fans fought to get it back. And they succeeded. A few days later, the network picked up the police procedural for a 7th and final season.

But nothing is really final until it is. Therefore, the little show that could, did. CBS renewed the series for an 8th season today.

“Here at CBS, we always ‘stay liquid’ and love a good dramatic twist, especially when it leads to an eighth season of S.W.A.T.!,” said Amy Reisenbach, president of CBS Entertainment. “The show continues to resonate with viewers thanks to our talented cast led by Shemar Moore and our amazing writers and producers who keep the show relevant and action-packed. We’re very pleased to renew it again and incredibly grateful to our partners at SONY, CBS Studios and Shemar for working so closely with us to bring it back for next season.”

The show’s star, Shemar Moore, never gave up hope and he was right to do so. “S.W.A.T. IS BACK! BELIEVE IN MIRACLES! I am so proud of this show and the people and variables it has taken to make this show what it is and has become,” said Moore, series star and executive producer. “I am so grateful to the fans around the world who have supported, watched, enjoyed and rooted for S.W.A.T.! It is entirely because of this support that S.W.A.T. will continue to shine! This is still a dream job for me … I love my S.W.A.T. crew, cast and writers and producers – we have made an incredible, fun, exciting, provocative and heartwarming show for the world to enjoy. Thank you to CBS and SONY for believing in S.W.A.T. and giving us this opportunity to shine!”

I love fairy tales with happy endings, and I am happy that S.W.A.T. is living happily but not ever after. Are you thrilled it is coming back?

A new type of ghost checks into Ghosts tonight
April 11th, 2024 under Ghosts. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight at 8:30p on CBS’s Ghosts, we meet a poltergeist. A poltergeist is a ghost who is attached to a person and goes everywhere they go.

Saul Henry (Lamorne Morris) was part of the Negroes League around the 1920s, but then he met his fate when he got hit with a baseball during a game. Since then, he has been moving from person to person. His latest attachment is Gene, a dentist who likes to travel, and his latest adventure brings him to Woodstone Manor.

Once Alberta (Danielle Pinnock) sees Saul, she wants to get to home base with him, if you know what I mean. So they spend the night together.

What happens when Gene goes to check out? Saul decides to attach himself to Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar). And that is when things really get crazy.

Well, not as crazy as the Bachelor party Sam (Rose McIver) throws for Isaac (Brandon Scott Jones).

I love that Ghosts is constantly coming up with new ways to bring in Ghosts. And still keep the show funny and endearing.

Oh, and next week’s episode is so very, very, very good!
