Let’s be honest! Seth Rogen is a big child at heart. Therefore, it makes sense that he is bringing back his childhood favorites. First, it was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and now he is doing the same with The Muppets.
It’s “The Muppet Show!” Kermit, Miss Piggy, and the beloved Muppet gang are back with a brand-new special event. Music, comedy, and a whole lot of chaos are bound to ensue when The Muppets once again take the stage of the original Muppet Theatre with their very special guest, Sabrina Carpenter!
It makes sense that this is the Studio’s star’s “favorite show.” Why? Because if you think about it, he looks like the human version of a Muppet. Doesn’t he look like one?
The Muppets special event premieres March 4th on ABC.
Seth Meyers and Sabrina Carpenter went Day Drinking, and they got drunk!
But they also got to know each other, make animal sounds, laughed, and sang Christmas songs as the singer decorated the Late Night host as though he were a Christmas tree! And he was as beautiful as the real thing!
It was not his best Day Drinking segment, but as always, it was a lot of fun to watch!
CBS brought back Hollywood Squares, and it was a hit. Therefore, they picked it up for a second season. Today, they announced who will be joining Drew Barrymore in the squares.
Some of the 70 celebrity guests appearing this season are: Anthony Anderson, Glenn Close, Kat Dennings, Fortune Feimster, Zarna Garg, Jay Mohr, Padma Lakshmi, Joel McHale, Ariana Debose, and Arsenio Hall. Plus, fan-favorite celebrities are back, including Whitney Cummings, Tiffany Haddish, Pete Holmes, Lil Rel Howery, Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, Leslie Jones, Jo Koy, Ross Mathews, Ms. Pat, and RuPaul.
Ever since I can remember watching the Oscars, they have always aired on ABC. However, after the 100th Academy Awards, they are moving to streaming on YouTube in 2929. AMPAS and the streamer announced the news today.
“We are thrilled to enter into a multifaceted global partnership with YouTube to be the future home of the Oscars and our year-round Academy programming,” said Academy CEO Bill Kramer and Academy President Lynette Howell Taylor. “The Academy is an international organization, and this partnership will allow us to expand access to the work of the Academy to the largest worldwide audience possible — which will be beneficial for our Academy members and the film community. This collaboration will leverage YouTube’s vast reach and infuse the Oscars and other Academy programming with innovative opportunities for engagement while honoring our legacy. We will be able to celebrate cinema, inspire new generations of filmmakers and provide access to our film history on an unprecedented global scale.”

Forget the Warner Bros/Netflix merger, this is a bigger movie theater killer and broadcast television than that.
