Do we need a Dirty Dancing sequel?
January 27th, 2026 under Jennifer Grey. [ Comments: none ]

Dirty Dancing is turning 40 next year, and for some reason, they think we need a sequel to the coming-of-age period drama.

Jennifer Grey will reprise her role as Frances “Baby” Houseman in the movie, which is currently being written and expected to start filming later this year.

“The role of Baby has held a very deep and meaningful place in my heart, as it has in the hearts of so many fans over the years,” the actress said. “I’ve long wondered where we might find Baby years later and what her life might be like, but it’s taken time to assemble the kind of people that I felt could be entrusted to build on the legacy of the original film… and I’m excited to say that ‘It looks like the wait will soon be over!’”

Maybe I am wrong, but is this movie as beloved as some think it is? I would rather see a John Hughes film get a follow-up, but without him, who wants one? On that note, without Patrick Swayze, what is the point? Grey is just not a big enough of a draw to me. Is she for you?

Sydney Sweeney gets into the lingerie business
January 27th, 2026 under Sydney Sweeney. [ Comments: none ]

Boys like Sydney Sweeney in as little clothes as possible, so it makes sense that she would come up with a line of lingerie.

SYRN is perfect for the seductress to seduce her lover. He will find euphoria as soon as he sees her, and she will find it after he takes the sexy garments off of her.

SYRN goes live tomorrow morning.

When is Stephen Colbert’s final Late Show?
January 26th, 2026 under Seth Meyers, Stephen Colbert. [ Comments: none ]

Scott Kowalchyk/CBS

We have known since July that Stephen Colbert’s Late Show is coming to an end.

Today, Colbert taped an interview with Seth Meyers for tomorrow’s Late Night, and he revealed that his final episodes will be on…May 21st, according to Late Nighter (not related to the NBC talk show).

Now that we know when it will come to an end, it will be interesting to see who we will get to be on it. My prediction is that all of the late night hosts will be there, with Jon Stewart leading the squad.

BTWF: Guy Fieri for Flowmaster Mufflers
January 26th, 2026 under Before They Were Famous. [ Comments: none ]

Before we knew as a restaurateur, he was selling Flowmaster Mufflers. He looks the same now as he did when he was 40 in that 2008 commercial.
