November 4th, 2013 under CBS, Chuck Lorre, Katy Mixon

Mike & Molly is back on CBS tonight at 9p and you don’t want to miss the show’s best season yet.
I have to admit for the last few years, I have used this sitcom to put me to sleep because it did. Well I am happy to say that is no longer the case after watching the first three episodes of this season. I found myself laughing several times. In fact, I laughed more in the third episode than I have in the whole show’s run because it is that freaking funny.
So what is different about this season as compared to the past ones? Well it starts out with Molly (Melissa McCarthy) having a nervous breakdown in front of her class and quitting her job as a teacher. Now she has to find out what she wants to be when she grows up. Tonight she decides she wants to get into musical theater, but that dream won’t last that long. Next week she will be inspired to do something else, but we are not up to that just yet.
Through it all Mike (Billy Gardell) is such a supportive husband and that makes you wish he is your husband. He puts up with Molly, while most men would leave her. It is their sweet relationship that makes this show special. And now it looks like they have finally found the right formula to make Mike & Molly the best show it could be.
Now I don’t want to leave out the supporting cast because throughout the years they have been the wheel that keeps the show rolling. This season Swoosie Kurtz, Katy Mixon, Reno Wilson, Louis Mustillo and Rondi Reed are still the glue that holds this show together. Just wait until the third episode because that is when Mixon will steal the show and I don’t think she should ever give it back!
So if you need a laugh, then tune in for Mike & Molly and find out how truly funny this show can be!

Then at 10p it is time for a major twist on Hostages, one you will never see coming.
Ellen (Toni Collette) and Brian (Tate Donovan) have had enough and they have decided they are going to kill Duncan (Dylan McDermott), the man who has been holding them hostage. Brian has his ideas and Ellen has hers. She will go to an old friend to help her out and that person is someone we have seen before. Who is it? I will never tell, so you will have to tune in to find out.
Here is a little spoiler, someone will end tonight’s episode being stabbed in the heart. Think you know who? The only way to find out if you are correct is to tune in…
