2022 hasn’t been John Mayer’s year. The singer has had COVID-19 not once but twice. And it isn’t ever March. He first got it in January, and he just announced that he got it again.
“Whelp. More members of the band tested positive for Covid today, and I was one of them,” Mayer wrote. “This is a bummer for everyone in the band and crew, to say nothing of the question hanging over everyone’s head – mine included – as to how I tested positive on PCR twice in two months. (The first was extremely mild, but this one’s got the better of me.)”
The singer is on tour and rescheduled a bunch of dates because of his diagnosis. While it is slowing him down now, he promises to come back strong.
I hope he gets well soon.
