Duran Duran was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last year, but Andy Taylor was not able to join his former bandmates because he is battling stage 4 prostate cancer.
Even though the guitarist is no longer with the band, they still support him. So next month they are doing something in honor of their friend.
The band wrote, “Duran Duran will play a benefit concert for The Cancer Awareness Trust following news that friend and former bandmate Andy Taylor had been diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer in 2018.
“It will take place Aug. 19 at The Guild Theatre in Menlo Park, California.”
VIP tickets go on sale Monday at 12n and then to the general public on Wednesday at 12n.
