Over the summer, we watched season 3 of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds on Paramount+. And we want to know what is going to happen next.
In the upcoming fourth season, the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise—led by Captain Christopher Pike—embarks on a series of thrilling and emotional adventures across the stars. As they journey to strange new worlds, they will battle inner demons and external threats, encounter colorful new characters, reunite with familiar faces, and confront terrifying aliens. Through it all, they strive to embrace a bright, hopeful future.
Yesterday, during New York Comic Con, Paramount+ released a clip from season 4. And wow!
As I watched it. I thought to myself, I bet they wish they had special effects like that when they made the OG Star Trek.
But that was almost 60 years ago (Can you believe it turns 60 next September?), and their special effects were so crude as compared to now. In ways, that is what makes it so special, even in today’s standards. Plus, they predicted some of the technology that we currently have.
Season 4 has wrapped production, but it does not have a premiere date.
