Peacock released the first full trailer for the dramatic take on Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and Bel-Air is not like the show we got to know in the ’90s. Gone is the goofiness, and it is replaced with realness.
That is not a bad thing because it looks really engaging. So much so, I hate that we have to wait until February 13th to stream the first three episodes. Then after Super Bowl Sunday, we will get one new episode per week.

Will Smith was working out with the Miami Dolphins, and he did a foul. As in, he created a foul odor. That’s right, he farted. His toot was naturally loud. However, it was even louder because there was a boom mic to catch the sound. Thankfully for the sound guy, the mic was on a long pole. So, he only heard who dealt it.
Back to Smith. When he was done laughing about cutting the cheese, he ran to the bathroom, like he was running to the goal line to catch the winning ball in the Super Bowl.

Two years ago, a man made a video of a serious version of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Will Smith liked it so much, he decided to turn it into a series. Peacock likes the pitch so much they made it a reality.
Today the streaming service released the first look at the upcoming drama, and I am looking forward to it. While it is not showing us what the program is going to be. You can already tell it is going to be a hit.

Today, we got a reminder about it because Will Smith announced who will be playing his role in the Peacock drama. Newcomer Jabari Banks has some big kicks to fill, and it is a dream come true for him.
Banks (no relation to characters on the show) told Smith, “The show has impacted me and my life.” I think we can all agree even more so now that he is getting his big break.
Even the actor’s dad knows how important Fresh Prince is to his son. When his father saw a report about Bel-Air, he sent his son an article about it. He told his kid to go for it. Unfortunately, that is not how it works in Hollywood. But two months later, his agent got him audition, and the rest is history.
When it comes to Banks, he looks like a prettier version of Smith. This is interesting because he is starring in a grittier version of the series.
Yesterday Will Smith spent Father’s Day with his family at a restaurant. The dining establishment covered his table with those candles that shoot up sparklers. Well, the actor was so afraid of the fire that he did the I am terrified of sparklers dance in his chair. That dance makes him look like a T-Rex when he sees a little mouse.
I would say that his days of working with Michael Bay are over. However, Bay’s fires are all CGI, so the only people who are afraid of him are the stuntmen who work with flammable material. That is because the director put them out of work.
