It has been nearly a week since Jada Pinkett Smith announced that she and Will Smith have been separated for seven years. And Will Smith hasn’t said anything.
Now, we know why. He has been on vacation with his notifications turned off. So, he didn’t know his estranged wife went public with their separation.
Wait until he finds out!
Actually, I am sure he knows. And he will take her back. And then I won’t feel bad for anything that happens to them because, at this point, they are doing it to themselves.
Jada Pinkett Smith is releasing a memoir because she thinks it will make her look good. However, her interview with Hoda Kotb on Today is making her look worse.
On Wednesday, Jada revealed that she and Will Smith have been separated since 2016. So that means that they were broken up at the Oscars in 2022 when Will slapped Chris Rock.
This morning, Kotb aired another part of their interview, and Jada talked about that night. She says that Will invited her because he knew that it was going to be his big night for him, and he wanted her there to support him even though he hadn’t called her his wife in a really long time.
So Jada was surprised when he went up there, slapped Rock, and thought it was a bit. And as we know, it wasn’t.
What about that eye roll that some people believe started it all, Jada says she did it because she thought of it as “a jab at alopecia,” something the actress claims to have. Therefore, she is saying that eye roll was not for Will to defend her.
Jada also revealed that Rock apologized to her during a break, and that pissed Will off even more.
But yet she sat there with Will and didn’t calm him down or take him out of the theater. If she loved him as the father of her children, that is what she would’ve done,
Instead of throwing him under the bus a year and a half later, only to play the victim.
She is no victim. Will is. And we don’t think she is a bitch for making him sit there on Red Table Talk and listen about how she fucked one of their son’s friends. She just comes off as cold, unlikable, and a fake victim.
I don’t think she was planning for all of this backlash, and I have two words to say to that, and they are boo and hoo.
Remember last year when Will Smith slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars and said, “Keep my wife’s name out of your fucking mouth?” Well, guess what? Jada Pinkett Smith revealed today to Hoda Kotb on Today that they were separated at the time. In fact, they have been separated for years, 2016 to be exact.
Pinkett Smith said they have been faking it because they have not been ready to tell the world that they are living apart. And even though they basically ended their marriage after almost 20 years, she does not plan on divorcing him.
So they will continue to live in limbo. But now we know that their marriage is over and has been for a long time.
Therefore, when they played the victims at and after the Oscars, they were lying to us. I don’t care that they split. But I have a massive problem with them lying to us after the incident. They pretended that their marriage was perfect, and she played the victim.
And since she has not done enough harm to Chris Rock, she tells People he asked her out when he thought that she and Will were separated. And they were.
So, Jada, all I have to say to you is, “Shut the fuck up!” You should’ve come forward after the slap rather than pretending you had this perfect marriage.
You will do anything for ratings and sell a book. I won’t be reading it. And I hope that others choose to do the same.
You had the right for marriage troubles to be private. But you went public with a happy marriage. You deceived everyone. You hurt the Oscars. You hurt the Chris Rock.
So I have no sympathy for you.
If my religious friends and family can get a divorce, then you can figure out how to get one, too. I mean, it has been seven years. Figure it the fuck out and let everyone in your family be happy, and move on.
Oh, don’t be surprised by the backlash. You did it to yourself.

Now, here we are four years later, Will Smith decided to turn that dream into a TV series, and Peacock picked it up to a series.
The first season did so well that the streaming service gave it a second season. The second season is doing even better, so they renewed it for a third season today.
And no one is surprised because I think it is even better than the original.
The drama is currently streaming its second season on Peacock, so spend the weekend binging it. I promise you will love it as much as everyone else who has seen it.
