Hugh Hefner and his now-former fiance Crystal Harris, who is 60 years younger than him, have called off their wedding. The Playboy Mogul simply Tweeted today, “The wedding is off. Crystal has had a change of heart.” While she Tweeted cryptic message last night that read “There are two mistakes one can make along the road to truth…not going all the way, and not starting.†Considering they were set to marry this Saturday, I guess you can say they started the procedure but she is making the mistake by not going all the way.
No reason was given for the sudden change of heart just 5 days before their nuptials, but E!online says the two had a heated argument over the phone and she is already moving out.
To be honest I am shocked that they ended their love affair because I thought they were really in love even though he is 85 and she is 25, but I guess even with that Playboy App they couldn’t get over the 60 year age gap.
UPDATE: Hugh Hefner has Tweeted more on the split, “The breakup is a heart breaker, but better now than after the marriage.” And he also showed off that he has a sense of a humor about it all, “Since we’re not getting married on Saturday, I’ve scheduled a movie: ‘Runaway Bride.’ Seems appropriate.” It really is!
Rob Schneider Tweeted yesterday that he was marrying his Hot Chick and today the former Gigolo said, “Thanks to all for your well-wishes for our wedding! Patricia and I appreciate it! It was the best day of my life!” No mention how many of his Men Behaving Badly, Grown Up friends were there or if he had more than 50 First Dates with Patricia, but the one thing we do know is they will be enjoying more than Bedtime Stories from now on!!!
Mackenzie Astin Tweeted that he answered the Call of the Wild, “This is what happens when you fall in love and stick the landing….11 April 11 – Ellicott City, Maryland”. His wife Jennifer Bautz also Tweeted a little more information, “is married to @MackenzieAstin as of 11:00am today.” So in other words they were married 4/11/11 at 11, that has to be really lucky for two the of them!
No word if The Facts of Life’s stars parents Patty Duke and John Astin, and his brother Sean Astin were there, but the one thing we know is they make a beautiful couple!
Now back to the couple, I hope their marriage doesn’t go to the Garbage Pail Kids and they live happily ever after!
BTW Mackenzie Astin doesn’t have time for a honeymoon just yet because he is starring in Caught here in LA until May 15th! I think I am going to have to catch it!!!
On Thursday it was announced that Kelsey Grammer’s divorce was finalized and he was free to marry his fiancee. So yesterday when he was spotted at NYC City Hall, it was assumed that he was getting married. Well according to Us Weekly it wasn’t him, but his daughter Spencer. The Greek actress and James Hesketh tied the knot today. No word when the Frasier star will be doing the same, but I am sure it will be very soon!
Jenna Von Oy married Dell computer data consultant Brad Bratcher on October 10th. According to People the Blossom’s Six got married in her hometown of Newtown, Ct and their dog Bruiser was the ring bearer. The happy couple met two years ago at wine bar in Nashville.
Hopefully she takes his last name because no offense Oy is not the best name to have.
