VH1 is spinning off a female version of its No. 1 show "Flavor of Love."Cable network has greenlit production on 10 episodes of an untitled series from executive producers Cris Abrego and Mark Cronin that casts one of the eccentric contestants from the first season of "Flavor" in her own dating show."Flavor" continues to rank as VH1’s top-rated original series. A recent episode on Sept. 3 drew a big 3.23 million viewers (1.5 national rating/5 share in 18-49; 1.9/7 in 18-34).Similar to what ABC did with "The Bachelorette," VH1 will air the offshoot on its own next year, likely in the "Flavor" Sunday night timeslot. And, like "Flavor," the producers are casting a "diverse" selection of contestants; in the first episode of "Flavor of Love 2," two of the competing women got into a fistfight over a bed, and another defecated on Flav’s marble floor."We’re able to cast guys you wouldn’t normally see." Abrego said. "We’ve got investment bankers, lawyers, rappers, unemployed guys living at home …The best part is each one believes they have amazing game."Production begins later this month. Season two of "Flavor" concludes Oct. 15.As far as the possibility for a third go-round with Flav, Cronin acknowledged that trying to find the rap star love again might be overkill, and another season might be out of the question. "We are developing new show ideas with him," Abrego said. "We think it’s time for him to do something new. He’s funny and a likeable character."

Please don’t let it be New York. She is so way over the top this season, I could not handle her having her own show.

Andrew Dice Clay and Tom Sizemore added to VH1’s Celebreality |
August 31st, 2006 under Andrew Dice Clay, VH1/MTV. [ Comments: none ]

VH1 has found its next pair of "Celebreality" Sunday stars in Andrew Dice Clay and Tom Sizemore. VH1 has ordered eight half-hours of each for a premiere in March. In addition, cabler has renewed "Celebreality" staples "Hogan Knows Best" and "Celebrity Eye Candy" and greenlit production on new series "Celebrity Paranormal Project," from "The Surreal Life" exec producers Mark Cronin and Cris Abrego; "The Fabulous Life Presents: Really Rich Real Estate," a new addition to Fab Life Monday nights; and "The Wendy Williams Experience," a hybrid interview series-docudrama centered on the popular New York radio DJ.Untitled Clay series will follow the foul-mouthed comic as he boards the comeback train. He hit the height of his popularity in the late ’80s with his brand of intentionally shocking, working-class humor. Skein in itself will be part of his multimedia publicity blitz that includes Clay writing a book, cutting a record and producing his own Sirius radio show."Clay on the road is very different from Clay at home," Olde continued. "We juxtapose his love-him-or-hate-him stage persona with his real life as a divorced man muddling through parenting and relationship issues. It’s actually pretty light in tone."Sizemore’s series is compelling for a different reason.Series will trail the now-sober actor as he embarks on acting jobs, including a movie for the BBC that’s lensing in Canada. Sizemore will narrate the proceedings, which will include flashbacks to his battles with drug and sexual addiction via tape he shot on his own. Troy Searer, who also worked on "Bonaduce," and John Foy will exec produce."Celebrity Paranormal Project," a one-hour that sends celebrities to collect data on paranormal activity in some of the world’s scariest, off-limits places (i.e. an asylum said to be haunted by its late criminal insane wards). Rachel Hunter, Gary Busey, Gilbert Gottfried, Traci Bingham and David Carradine are among the celebs on board to participate. Eight-episode series bows in October.

FoL2’s Toastee discusses her elimination on Dlisted |

Michael K gets another hot hot hot interview with Toastee! This is just one of the many questions she answered, but you can check out the rest of the interview at Dlisted!
MK: So you didn’t get with Foofy? Ok, that answered my other question. Now let’s get the real shit. Tell me exactly how you felt about Foofy showing that nude picture of you to everyone and why did Nibblz spill it to him like that?
Toastee: The tears that everyone saw on TV were real- I was a mess. I was really, really shocked that Flav decided to print out a photo and whip it out at the elimination ceremony. I still stand by my opinion that I’ve never done porn. The photo that he found was from a shoot I did when I was 18 years old. It was a photo of me naked, in a very "open" pose, but just me, nobody else. Yes it was immature for me to have done that kind of work in the past, but it IS the past. I am not a stripper. I am a medical school student and I own a modeling agency now to help new models find safe and reliable work. I think it’s very hypocritical for online strippers like Nibblz and crackheads like Flav to judge me or look down on me at all for something I did at 18. There was no reason to show the photo to everyone at the elimination ceremony other than to hurt me. THAT is very immature. I am not mad at Nibblz- she did what she felt she had to do to get me off the show. I expected something cheap and low-class from someone cheap and low-class like herself. It’s a shame however that VH1 and Flavor Flav had to manipulate and humiliate a young girl on national television to bring ratings. I really do think this was staged since the audition process and could have easily happened to any of the other girls with "pasts" on the show. You live and you learn though. I’ve learned from the show just like I’ve learned from the past. I’ve gotten hundreds and hundreds of emails from fans that are just sooo nice and really caring. It means a lot that strangers feel the need to show me their support! Thanks everyone!
