Eddie Van Halen’s surgery forces Van Halen to cancel more shows
August 29th, 2012 under Van Halen. [ Comments: none ]

Van Halen hit the road on January 5th and for the second time this year they have postponed several dates. The first time was because they took on too many dates, but this time it is because Eddie Van Halen suffered complications from a surgery and will need several months to recover. The band announced the news on their site by saying, “Eddie Van Halen underwent an emergency surgery for a severe bout of Diverticulitis. No further surgeries are needed and a full recovery is expected within 4 – 6 months.” According to KSDK he went in to have surgery to deal with the Diverticulitis, but he popped some of the stitches and that caused an infection. He spent three weeks in the hospital and now he’s at home recovering for the next few months.
Their November tour in Japan is postponed until he gets better which hopefully will be soon!

David Lee Roth explains why Van Halen postponed their tour
May 20th, 2012 under Van Halen. [ Comments: none ]

On Thursday it was announced that Van Halen was postponing their tour, but didn’t say why. So everyone started thinking that the reunited band couldn’t handle being around each other any more. Well David Lee Roth posted a message on Vimeo and explained that they are postponing the tour dates so they can learn Australian for when they go to a land down under. Actually he said that the “schedule has been sidelined for unnecessary roughness.” because the old guys bit off more than they can chew. So basically he is saying they need some rest.

We need to laser remove Van Halen’s Tattoo!
January 10th, 2012 under Van Halen. [ Comments: none ]

Van Halen has premiered their first new single with David Lee Roth in 27 years and they should’ve waited a little longer until they had better song. Some things get better with age, and David Lee Roth with Van Halen is not one of them.

Van Halen is going to tour in 2012 like it’s 1984
December 26th, 2011 under Van Halen. [ Comments: none ]

For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge yeah! Van Halen is hitting the road with David Lee Roth in 2012 and you better Jump at the tickets when they start to go on sale January 10th because they will go fast. You know this tour is gonna be Hot For Teachers and everyone else who spent a big part of their teen years listening to their albums.
Back the ’90s I saw Van Halen with Sammy Hagar and he did Roth’s songs, so I wonder if the Gigalo will do the same Right Here? He would be 5150 if he didn’t. And on that note, what is up with Roth stealing Justin Bieber’s moves???
