If I could hug the Psych series finale, I would! |
March 26th, 2014 under Psych, USA Network. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight at 9p on USA, Psych says goodbye after 8 great seasons.
Shawn (James Roday) has decided to move to San Fransisco to be with Juliette (Maggie Lawson), and now he just has to figure out how to tell everyone including his BFF Gus (Dule Hill). Shawn asks his dad (Corbin Bersen) how to break the news to Gus, and Henry tells him to let his partner in crine solve a case because hearing bad news during something good makes it easier. When that doesn’t work, Shawn has only one to do it and it is sweet.
During tonight’s series finale there will be laughs, tears, surprises that are top gun and plenty of screams from Gus.
The episode is sincerely the perfect sendoff for this show, that I think that all other shows that know they’re end is coming should watch this to find out how to do it right. The only thing that would make it perfect, is if the show wasn’t really ending and if a certain mentioned person actually appeared on the show tonight.

White Collar sentenced to a 6 episode final season |
March 20th, 2014 under USA Network. [ Comments: none ]

USA is set to announce that White Collar will be ending after this shortened six-episode sixth season according to Deadline. The online trade says that even though the show was still successful, it was just too expensive for the network to keep.
As extremely sad as I am to see the show go, I am sure the two leads will be happy to move on. Matt Bomer will have more time to pursue a movie career and Tim DeKay can return to the West Coast to be with his family. During a conference call last year, when I asked DeKay how much longer he could do the show, he hinted that he might not renew his contract when it was up after the 7th season. If the show filmed closer to his home, he also implied he would’ve done the show as long as it lasted.
Personally, I really think USA is making a mistake by not spending a few extra buck to keep this show going. Their new dramas have not proven to be breakout hits like this one still is. With White Collar set to end and Psych ending next week, Suits and Royal Pains are the only dramas I will still be watching on the network. Which doesn’t sound that bad; but considering I used to watch all of their original programming, it is.

Chrisley Knows Best is the best at faking reality! |

Chrisley Knows Best debuts on USA tonight at 10p with two episodes and you don’t want to miss this reality show that is so fake that it is so real.
Todd Chriley, grew up in South Carolina, made a lot of money in real estate and bought a huge house in the suburbs of Atlanta. He is happily married to Julie and together they have 5 children together. Lindsie, 24,fusa n
is the oldest and she is married to a man her father doesn’t approve of and they have a son together. Then there is Kyle, who is figuring out what to do with his life. There are three kids living in the estate, first is 17 year old Chase and his father watches him like hawk, literally. Savannah is 16 and her dad approves everything she wears. Finally there is Grayson who is a 7 year old spitfire and the love of Julie’s life.
They sound perfect and that is what Todd is striving for for his family. He has GPS on his kids’ cars so he knows where they are at all times. If that wasn’t enough, he traces the activity on his children’s’ phones and computers. In fact he doesn’t want them to go out to things like a school football game without him. Can you imagine if your dad did that to you?
During the premiere episode it is all about getting to know them, and in the second episode you get to see how far they go to be perfect. Lindsie decides to get a boob job and her parents are excited for her. While Lindsie is getting prepped, Julie gets some Botox. A family that gets cosmetic surgery, stays together.
Chrisley Knows Best is like what we have seen on TV, but even more exaggerated and because of that you are going to love the fakest reality show on television.

Sirens Suits up tonight on USA! |
March 6th, 2014 under Suits, USA Network. [ Comments: none ]

Suits is back on USA Network at 9p and Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) might not be now that Louis (Rick Hoffman) is close to finding out that he really didn’t got to Harvard. Over the next few episodes, Louis will get closer and closer to the truth, but will he expose what he knows? You don’t want to miss a single second of this pulse racing storyline.
While Louis is finding out more about Mike, we are learning more about what happened the night when Mike’s parents died. The more we find out about them, the more Mike will too and he will wish he didn’t. How will this change him?
Just when you think that Suits can’t get any more intriguing, they start the second half of the season off with some really loud and exciting bangs!
Then at 10p on USA Network Denis Leary is back with a new comedy, but he isn’t starring in it. Even though the man who brought us Rescue Me is behind the camera on Sirens, you are still going to love this unconventional take on what EMTs go through on a daily basis.
Sirens follows the lives of three EMTs in Chicago and what their job is like. Johnny (Michael Mosley), is recently single, but still friends with his ex, Jessica (Theresa Kelly). On tonight’s episode he told her he has given up porn, but he hasn’t and he gave her an iPad to borrow with incriminating evidence. Now he has to get it back, but how will he be able to do it without her finding out?
Then there is Hank (Kevin Daniels), who is gay and also the only one with a level head. Finally, there is Brian (Kevin Bigley), who is a newbie on the job, and so excited to be there. That will all change when they are asked to clear the cache of a guy they just took the hospital and they see something they can’t unsee.
This is just one of the many funny but wrong things that happen on the USA comedy that airs two episodes every Thursday at 10p.

White Collar’s future unclear? |
February 11th, 2014 under USA Network. [ Comments: none ]

White Collar ended its season with yet another nail biting cliffhanger two weeks ago and we might not find out what happens next. According to Deadline, talks for the new season have stalled between the studio and network. Both agree that the 6th season should be its final one, but the question is how many episodes will the show get to say goodbye. Fox TV Studios wants the drama to have a full season sendoff, but USA wants it to be a short miniseries. While both sides debate what should happen, the writing staff and the crew have moved on to other projects. So when the network and studio finally do come to some sort of agreement, production of the final season will be delayed.
Personally, I don’t get why USA ends successful shows to save money because they are getting older and costlier. I think shows like Monk, In Plain Sight, Psych and now White Collar could have gone on for many more years and still have given them good numbers. To be honest, I am not enjoying their newer shows as much as I enjoy the ones that they have cancelled prematurely. Hopefully they will stop this madness because if they don’t, I have a feeling Royal Pains will also be getting a final season this year, and that would be a shame.
