It has been almost four years since The Biggest Loser has been off the air, and it is back on USA tonight at 9p.
Trainer Bob Harper is back, but this time he is hosting. He is also inspiring the contestants because now he understands their journey more after suffering a heart attack almost three years ago. He is not the only trainer who understands what they are going through, as does Erica Lugo. She once tipped the scales at 322 pounds, and she has kept it off for five years. Trainer Steve Cook looked like he had the perfect body when he was on magazine covers. What we didn’t know is that he worked out like crazy before the shoots and pigged out afterward. He now has a better relationship with food, and he wants the same thing for his contestants.
The contestants are all obese, and they are suffering from health issues related to their weight. They are issues like very high cholesterol, diabetes, and sleep apnea. If they don’t get their weight under control, they could die. Therefore, they committed to getting healthy.
However, is this the way to do it? Just like when it was on NBC, the show is all about exercise. It feels like they are working out 24/7 because that is all they do in each episode. Well, when they are not being weighed in.
We are not seeing them learning how to eat healthier. We know that several of the contestants have issues with food, so let’s see them work with dieticians to teach them how to eat better when they are home.
Another problem I have with the show is that the people who need it the most are the first ones that are eliminated. Maybe they are better off because they are sent home with a gym membership and a nutritionist. This way they are learning how to keep off the weight when they are home. That is where it really matters.
They say the show is different, but it feels the same for me. What they should do is keep all the contestants on the show from the beginning until the end. Teach them not only to work out but also how to work out when they are home working and being a parent. Also, show them how to prepare meals for them and their family, so that they can all keep off the weight.
They are not trying to be bodybuilders; they are trying to live to see their next birthdays. Then I would think the show would not get the criticism it gets.
I don’t hate the show, I just wish it was more responsible.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7nYCq4lCXgw Suits is airing its final episodes and tonight at 9p on USA we get to see a familiar face return one more time. Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) flies back to NY to visit Harvey (Gabriel Macht). However, it is not a friendly visit.
Mike has a case and Harvey is opposing counsel. Only thing is Harvey gave that client to Samantha (Katherine Heigl) and she does not want to give it up. Now it is 2 against one. Who will win this fight and is it fair? Especially because the two colleagues have made it a game.
By the end of the episode, one side will win and lose. What that means, you just have to watch. And you don’t want to miss what happens in the final seconds.

Also at 9p, but over at Fox is BH90210. Last week, the gang was all reunited for Beverly Hills, 90210’s 30th anniversary. This week, they are reuniting to have their day in court. That is because they were all arrested last week when Tori Spelling stole a dress and fled from Las Vegas to Los Angeles.
Before they go to court, Spelling and Jennie Garth pitch the reboot to Fox. The network is on board if they can get the rest of the cast to do it. Now the two of them have to try to recruit Jason Priestley, Brian Austin Green, Ian Ziering, Gabriel Carteris and Shannen Doherty to appear on the revival. Which is easier said that done. They all say no because they have other things in the works. That and they cannot stand each other.
Spelling comes up with a way to recruit her friends, but will it work? You just have to tune in and you know you want to because it is like the ’90s all over again.
Back in the ’90s, Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls were two of the biggest rappers out there. But neither one of them would live to see the decade end. They both were gunned down in drive-by shootings, 6 months apart, and to this day we do not know who did it. Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac and The Notorious BIG begins on USA tonight at 10p and it tells the story of how the LAPD tried to solve their murders.
On September 7, 1996, Tupac (Marcc Rose) was shot in the car he was driving in with Suge Knight in Las Vegas. Six days later, he died from his injuries. The shooter sped away and to this day remains a mystery.
Six months later to day after Tupac was shot, his former friend and rival Biggie Smalls (Wavyy Jonez) was gunned down in Los Angeles. His murderer also got away with murder.
Throughout the years there have been a lot of theories of who might have gunned down the stars, some even saying they were both murdered by the same people. Detective Greg Kading (Josh Duhamel) and Detective Russell Poole (Jimmi Simpson) will work both cases separately, sometimes they will be looking at the same people. Other times they will have their own theories.
Poole will look into Death Row Records, Suge Knight and the dirty cops in LAPD who were working for Knight’s label. Kading will be investigating if one of the LA gangs or possibly Puff Daddy might have had a role in it.
The series starts off in 1997 when both Detectives get the case, and it follows their investigation and the lack of help they were getting from the department. But also flashes back to Tupac and Biggie’s lives and what might have lead up to their murders.
There is a lot we didn’t know, and Unsolved answers a lot of questions. So much so that after 7 episodes I’ve seen, I have my own ideas. But the series goes on for 16, so it might change. If you have ever had any interest in their murders, then you are going want to check out this series. I am on the edge of my seat wanting to know more. Plus, the casting department did a great job finding their Tupac, Biggie and Suge. You almost think it is the music legends themselves.

Last week’s episode of Suits on USA showed us that everyone at Pearson Specter Litt hated everyone else and tonight at 9p it gets ever worse.
Everyone is more divided than ever and it will cost them when Alex’s (Dule Hill) old firm tries to steal Harvey (Gabriel Macht) and Louis’ (Rick Hoffman) clients from under them. The rival firm is doing such a good job at it, Donna (Sarah Rafferty) wonders who is feeding them information. She thinks it is a former employee, so she sends Rachel (Meghan Markle) in to confront that person. Only problem is, it is not that person. Who it is will surprise the sh!t out of you. Therefore you don’t want to miss tonight’s episode because it is another game changer that propels the series even further.
Did I mention that Mike (Patrick Adams) and Rachel also make a decision about their wedding?

Then at 10p on USA, Jessica Biel makes her return to TV in The Sinner. Cora Tannetti (Biel) is your average housewife and mom of a young son, until one day at the beach changes everything. When a song comes on the radio and she sees a couple making out, it awakens something that was dormant in her. She suddenly grabs the knife, stands up, walks over the couple and kills the man.
No one including her, her husband (Christopher Abbott) and the detective (Bill Pullman) assigned to the case know why she did it. Each episode will give another clue into why and reveal a past that no one, even Cora, herself knew about until now.
The Sinner is a murder mystery, but not as in who did it but why they did it. Causing you to be on the edge of your seat wanting to know more as each minutes passes.

Just when it looked like things were going to back to normal on Suits, tonight at 9p on USA things take a major shift. The friendships between everyone at Pearson, Specter, Litt come undone. No one is safe and by the end of the night, someone snaps.
Who will still be talking at the end of the episode? You will have to tune in to see if it is Louis (Rick Hoffman) and Harvey (Gabriel Macht), Harvey and Mike (Patrick J. Adams), Donna (Sarah Rafferty) and Rachel (Meghan Markle), Donna and Harvey or none of the above? It is a game changing episode you do not want to miss which is why I am not saying too much because it is shocker after shocker and that means one excellent hour of television.
Suits is the rare show that constantly reinvents itself and gets better with each reinvention!
