It is almost Thanksgiving, which we also call Turkey Day. Since we will be so sick of the big bird after the holiday, we can still like the taste of it now. Back on September 1st, Kevin Hart was in a serious car accident with two other people and broke his back in three places. Since then we have seen him public, but we have not seen him at any public events. That changed last night when he showed up to the People’s Choice Awards on E! to accept The Best Comedy Act of 2019 Award.
Since the “people” choose the winners, the comedian, who was looking healthy, had a message for his voters. He said, “First and foremost man, thank God because I definitely don’t have to be here. Being that I am, it makes me appreciate life even more. It makes me appreciate the things that really matter. Family. I want to thank my wife and my kids, who really stepped up to the plate for me.”
Then the actor added, “I also want to take the time to thank the People’s Choice Awards just for this. This is amazing, but more importantly the people, man. You have no idea the effect that you have on us as entertainers. Your energy, your support. It means the world and I truly want to thank you guys for being there for me in my difficult time.”
I wish more celebrities acknowledged their fans like he did. If it was not for us, where would they be? I wish the ones that don’t appreciate us, went into a void where no longer hear their names.
The Invisible Man is kind of a fun concept about a man who becomes invisible and has a hard time with his new power. In the latest take on the classic story, they have turned it into a psychological movie about a stalker who faked his death to go after his abusive lover played by Elisabeth Moss.
Yeah, I will skip it when it comes out on February 28th. Why does everything have to be so f*cked up now like this and Joker? What happened to fun!
