Undateable and U2 cancelled their live shows in honor of Paris
November 13th, 2015 under Bill Lawrence, U2. [ Comments: none ]

Today’s terrorist attacks in Paris has the world mourning along with the City of Light, and because of that NBC decided to cancel the live tapings of tonight’s Undateable. Executive Producer Bill Lawrence explained the decision on Twitter, “#UndateableLive No live comedy tonight. Not a funny day. #PrayForParis”
Although we need to escape from this horror, today is too soon.
So is tomorrow and because of that U2 and HBO have decided to cancel tomorrow’s live concert from Paris.
Today and for the time being, continue to pray for Paris because they cannot get of it.

The Edge falls off the edge!
May 15th, 2015 under U2. [ Comments: 1 ]

U2 began their tour in Vancouver yesterday and it will be an opener they won’t soon forget. While Bono was belting I Still Haven’t Found What I am Looking For, The Edge fell off the edge of the stage. So I guess you can say, he still hasn’t found what he was looking for. You know, like the edge of the stage. Even the guitarist admits, he couldn’t find it.
After the show, The Edge took to U2’s Instagram and said that je is fine, but you can see he was bruised up. To see how bad it is, then click here!

Can’t believe Jimmy Fallon’s funniest bit includes Bono!!!
May 9th, 2015 under Jimmy Fallon, U2. [ Comments: none ]

Jimmy Fallon has done some really funny bits on The Tonight Show and Late Night, but, in my opinion, his funniest bit came yesterday with Bono.
Back in November, U2 was supposed to play the NBC late night show for a week, but Bono got into a bicycle accident and broke his arm. Therefor, the band had to cancel their appearances on the show.
Now, almost 6 months later, the band returned to the show. They couldn’t return without making fun of Bono’s accident, so they did. What happens next, had me laughing the hardest I’ve laughed since I saw Meet Joe Black. Press play and you will understand why.
Not only did they do this segment, but the Irish band actually played a NYC City Subway stop. I would have loved to have been there to hear that because the acoustics down there must’ve been phenomenal. I saw them at the Philips Arena in Atlanta and they sounded like crap. Never go to a concert in that piece of sh!t arena.

Bono might never play the guitar again
January 2nd, 2015 under U2. [ Comments: 1 ]

Back in November on a Sunday, Bloody Sunday,
severely injured himself from a bike accident in Central Park. The singer has pretty much been silent about his broken collar bone since then, but he celebrated the New Year by breaking his silence. The singer wrote a long essay detailing the things he cares about from A to Z, and buried within the letter I is that his guitar playing days might be over. He said, “Recovery has been more difficult than I thought… As I write this, it is not clear that I will ever play guitar again.” Then he added. “The band have reminded me that neither they nor Western civilization are depending on this.” Am I the only person who didn’t realize he played the guitar and I saw U2 live.
Hopefully, with time, he will recover and be the old musician that he was before the accident. Even if he isn’t, his powerful voice will continue on.

U2 cancels on Jimmy Fallon at the last minute
November 16th, 2014 under Jimmy Fallon, U2. [ Comments: none ]

Bono is not having a good week. First, the door on his plane fell off while it was up in the air, and over the weekend he hurt his arm.
U2‘s other band members announced the news on their website. They said, “It looks like we will have to do our Tonight Show residency another time – we’re one man down. Bono has injured his arm in a cycling spill in Central Park and requires some surgery to repair it. We’re sure he’ll make a full recovery soon, so we’ll be back! Much thanks to Jimmy Fallon and everyone at the show for their understanding.”
So for all of you people who were pissed, that you were forced to get U2’s latest album for free on iTunes, it looks someone is trying to get their revenge on him. Could it be Steve Jobs spirit getting back at him for not doing it while he was alive?
Now when it comes to Fallon, I am so like sure the show is OK about. Not. They have less that 24 hours to find four new bands to play just over a week before Thanksgiving. That is not going to be easy. But you know, they could try for Bill Cosby because I hear The Tonight Show mainstay is available.

UPDATE: Here is what Jimmy Fallon had to say about U2 not doing the show this week, “No @U2 this week. But we’ll think of something and send vibes to Bono for a speedy recovery.”
