The other day when Tom Cruise was on The Late Late Show, he asked James Corden to go to skydiving with him. Since the CBS late night host was asked about it on television, he had no choice but to say yes.
Even though he did not have to do it, he did. Not only did he do it, he recorded it and showed the skydive on his show yesterday.
At first he tried to get away, but I do not know why he thought he could outrun the Top Gun. As we know the actor has the need, the need for speed like no one else does; so there is no way Corden was going to out run him and he did not.
Now Corden had no choice but to take to the sky and drop out of plane. Before he jumped he called his wife. Cruise offered to take care of Julia if anything went wrong. Of course, she did not wish her husband luck. Would you?
Now it was time for him to see his life flash before his eyes and you can hear him screaming even though we couldn’t as he was barreling down towards the earth. Not only could you can hear that, you can also see how excited and nervous he was.
His enjoyment makes me want to do it, but only with Cruise as my instructor. I love when Cruise lets go because he truly is a very funny and likable man.
Tom Cruise is a very serious man. He laughs, but it is a controlled laughter. Yesterday, when he was on The Tonight Show, he could not control himself. Could be because Jimmy Fallon asked him to star in Mad Lib Theater with him and the two of them acted out the silliest scene. It is hard to keep a straight face when you are saying such goofy things.
The goofier, the better for us. It was nice to see Cruise have some fun and let loose. He should do it more often. It would make him more likable and approachable.
Since Goose cannot be in Top Gun: Maverick (because he is dead and all), they decided that Goose’s son can be part of the sequel. Who do the producers think looks like a young Anthony Edwards? According to Variety, they decided to give that title to Miles Teller, who also does not look like movie mom, Meg Ryan, either. I guess they think we are too stupid to figure that out.
Having said that, I like Miles Teller, I just think they could have done a better job casting the son of two iconic actors.
Remember last year when Tom Cruise broke his ankle doing a stunt for Mission: Impossible: Fallout? A few months ago, he showed all the angles at the moment it happened on The Graham Norton Show. Today, he is showing us the math and science behind. It is too much for me to comprehend, but like he said, “That impact? No joke.” That I can understand. That and ouch!

Ever since Tom Cruise confirmed that he was making a sequel to Top Gun, we have all wanted to know if Val Kilmer was going to be in it too. Well, today The Wrap is reporting that Iceman and Maverick will be reunited in the upcoming movie.
The blond actor has neither confirmed or denied the report. In fact, we know very little about Top Gun: Maverick. All we do know is that it began production last week. It is as top secret as whatever mission they are on.
Now that we know that Iceman is going to be in it, what about Goose’s (Anthony Edwards) ghost?
