Since Goose cannot be in Top Gun: Maverick (because he is dead and all), they decided that Goose’s son can be part of the sequel. Who do the producers think looks like a young Anthony Edwards? According to Variety, they decided to give that title to Miles Teller, who also does not look like movie mom, Meg Ryan, either. I guess they think we are too stupid to figure that out.
Having said that, I like Miles Teller, I just think they could have done a better job casting the son of two iconic actors.
Remember last year when Tom Cruise broke his ankle doing a stunt for Mission: Impossible: Fallout? A few months ago, he showed all the angles at the moment it happened on The Graham Norton Show. Today, he is showing us the math and science behind. It is too much for me to comprehend, but like he said, “That impact? No joke.” That I can understand. That and ouch!

Ever since Tom Cruise confirmed that he was making a sequel to Top Gun, we have all wanted to know if Val Kilmer was going to be in it too. Well, today The Wrap is reporting that Iceman and Maverick will be reunited in the upcoming movie.
The blond actor has neither confirmed or denied the report. In fact, we know very little about Top Gun: Maverick. All we do know is that it began production last week. It is as top secret as whatever mission they are on.
Now that we know that Iceman is going to be in it, what about Goose’s (Anthony Edwards) ghost?
As we know, Tom Cruise felt the need, the need for speed; so he is finally back in the pilot’s saddle again. That’s right, 22 years and 2 weeks after Top Gun came out, he has started production of the sequel that is due to come out on July 12, 2019.
The actor shared a photo of himself back in his suit, looking at his jet, ready to take flight on an adventure that we never thought would happen. Now that it is, we all want to know if Val Kilmer and Anthony Edwards will have any part in Top Gun Maverick. Which they better because we feel the need for them too. Cruise was a big part of the first movie, but not all of it. Contrary to what some people might think.
Yes, I know that Goose is dead, but his ghost can live on. Save Goose and Iceman!
If a movie has Tom Cruise in it and it does not have him running, is it really a movie with him in it? Well Mission: Impossible – Fallout is a movie with him in it because we see him running in the trailer.
Not only that, we see that moment when he shattered his ankle in a stunt gone bad. Who would have thought if Cruise was going to break his leg, that it did not happen when he was filming a running scene and slipping on a banana peel. The latter part might be all me, but you get where I was going with that thought?
Are you going to run out and see it when it comes out on July 27th? I won’t be. A. I don’t run. B. I swore off his movies after Vanilla Sky.
